Are TSA workers scanned and patted each time they pass through checkpoints?
Vanity | 11/21/10 | DH

Posted on 11/21/2010 4:15:33 AM PST by DH

As I was watching TSA searchers violating free citizens rights by having them physically violated as they went through the screening process, and the fact that now we are going to give waivers to Pilots and special searches for Molsems, it dawned on me that the TSA personnel themselves are totally exempt from the process as the enter and exit the search area.

Up to now, I have not heard one soundbite about them. Stop and think about it. Here we have the lower echelon of the workforce that are at most risk of criminal behavior (minimum wage uneducated workers) freely coming in and out of a "secure" area each time they enter their workplace. In the morning, after lunch, breakfast, and supper, and many other times throughout the day, they enter and exit the area.

Now, with that in mind shouldn't we all demand that ALL TSA workers be screened EVERY time they enter the "SECURE AREA?"

I think that if they had to undergo the same ridiculous searches themselves things might change simply because they would not like it....nothing more....and many would simply quit rather than be searched many times a day.

We need to press the issue so that they can be "happy campers" just like the sheeple who now are humiliated each time they board a plane.

When there is no line the TSA people should be continually searching each other to keep their skill up.

“I’d like to know because I have a family member who works for TSA”.

I personally didn’t read it as a direct threat. However, this is how I see it: TSA is now being put in the position of being terrorists. They are terrorizing people. How else can you justify a TSA employee humiliating a breast cancer survivor, a bladder cancer survivor or man-handling a little child until they are in tears. The response from the employees “I am only doing my job” falls on deaf ears for the people who have been searched like this and for many Americans. With this administration, I fear we are becoming a nation of SIDES. You either support and promote socialist agenda or you fight it. Plain and simple. You are either a soldier for the government or you love your country. History tells us that this has happened before. Will citizens be asked to round up other citizens, report if they have a garden, report if they are meeting in groups? If that is their respective “job”, do you give them a pass? Just a thought.

I laughed at this guy for taking his clothes off until I saw he was arrested. Also, read the comments...

Damn good retort!

No doubt that there are some decent TSA people, from personal experience they sure seem to be in a minority as most have an “in yo face” attitude.

I too think this current situation has become somewhat a payback from the nobama libs. A showdown is coming and nobama will lose in more ways than one.

Those last three images are photoshop fakes generated from a nude image of a young woman, processed to falsely appear to be a revealing Xray.

Yeah, well. You CAN’T take your camera and use it when it counts. They have confiscated them in the tubs going through the x-ray machines!

But the TSA was driven by the Dems and W went along with it. Your point is valid and should not be forgotten.

“The TSA people are just doing as they are told. “

I vas only followink orders!

If someone told me to stip search a little boy I would refuse. I don’t believe doing so is necessary or prudent.

Here's a chilling thought: If you can inure government employees to the strip-searching of little children and old women, how big a stretch is it to hearding the children and old women onto cattle cars?

After all, it was 0bama's pal William Ayers who seriously discussed the fact that as many as 20-million "counterrevolutionary" Americans may have to be slaughtered to impose a socialist paradise in the U.S...

“I personally didn’t read it as a direct threat.”

Well I did and it’s not the first threat I’ve seen or heard about.

“How can you justify a TSA employee humiliating a breast cancer survivor.”

I never did justify that but I’m also not going to hold my family member accountable for something someone else did.

“You are either a soldier for the government or you love your country.”

What are you saying? If my family member doesn’t quit, then he doesn’t love his country? Unbelievable!

“Will citizens, report if they have a garden, report if they are meeting in groups? If that is their respective “job”, do you give them a pass? Just a thought.”

Here’s a thought...I mind my own business...I don’t turn anyone in and I wouldn’t ever dream of doing such a thing. We are talking about airport security here and you are going into all kinds of directions. If an AMERICAN works for TSA, suddenly that person is an agent of the government and spies on friends and neighbors. With all due respect, my family member does the security and goes home to his family...that is all.

Please stop posting a fake scan to “prove” these scans can be made into “porn.” It’s a bad argument because your evidence, the photos, are not what you say they are.

“With all due respect, my family member does the security and goes home to his family ... that is all”.

What has occurred with this economy is that many people don’t have the option to just quit. They have financial responsibilities like putting food on the table and clothes on their backs. You misunderstood the entire scope of my thoughts. I am sure many of the TSA employees (whether American or not) don’t want this part of their job; however, THEY HAVE BECOME AGENTS OF THE GOVERNMENT. They may be “following orders” and going home to their families each night but at what cost to the liberties of others? Would your family member tolerate this type of treatment for his own family? Where is the cutoff that your family member wouldn’t do? No, we are not talking about “AIRPORT SECURITY HERE”... IT IS MUCH MORE THAN THAT. Security from tugging on some person’s colostomy bag? Security from strip searching a little boy in public? Meanwhile, the idea that Muslim women can pat themselves down AND not targeting Muslims. So, your concept of security and my concept of security are really different. Look at the big picture with respect to “spying”... this is a test. Will regular citizens become agents of the government without question as to what they are really doing or accomplishing. It’s all part of the job, right? Just a thought.

Accuracy is essays is kinda important....there are no screening exceptions for Mohammedans - yet. Demands have been made by CAIR, and Janet hems and haws about it, but there is no exception in place.

I don't think there will be either....talk about political suicide.

There will be “unspoken” rules concerning Muslims. We are not stupid. You will not see a Muslim woman being patted down by an infidel. It may not be official policy, but the workers will know not to offend this special class.

“I am sure many of the TSA employees (whether American or not) don’t want this part of their job;however, THEY HAVE BECOME AGENTS OF THE GOVERNMENT.”

I disagree.

“Meanwhile, the idea that Muslim women can pat themselves down and not targeting Muslims.”

That’s all it is...an idea that muslim women pat themselves down. It is not policy and yet you go on as if it is.

“So, your concept of security and my concept of security are really different.”

I’d like to get from point A to point B safe and sound. I would think most people feel that way. If “some” TSA personel are abusing the public, then perhaps TSA should go after them...to hold everyone accountable is crazy.
