It will take a full military engagement to do anything.

Good! If the illegals enter the State of Texas they fall under Texas law. Texas should put out the word that if they are armed, they stand the chance of being injured by gun fire from police or.......individual land owners who feel threatened.

Speaking of states rights, what is the latest on AZ vs the Communist in Chief?
Last I heard they were going to the mat with the DC Politburo.

In recent years, the cartels have become bolder and more ruthless. And why wouldn't they? Our last three presidents for a total, so far, of what? EIGHTEEN YEARS??!! For eighteen years our presidents, regardless of party, have said we will not enforce/protect the border.
Yeah, I'd become bolder, too.

I never thought that wed be in this paramilitary type of engagement. It's a war on the border,"
That is because politicians in both major parties have done little to curb the problem and have allowed it to fester and grow for decades.
The last president who effectively confronted major southern border issues was President Eisenhower, and that was a half-century ago.

The democrat politicos along the border are being bought and paid for by the cartels. Take a look at the map...all of the drug routes into the US are run by democrats(especially the I35 corridor in Texas.

I’m still waiting...for an explanation from Washington..why it is that South Koreans get to sleep soundly on their border-courtesy of the US taxpayer and military, all the while Texans, New Mexicans and Arizonans are deprived of the same privilege.
and even more so..why those three states should continue, so abused , as part of the Union.

I bet if Perry asked for 10,000 armed male volunteers to form a border militia he would draw that. The Texas border is 2,000 miles long. That is 5 volunteers per mile. Put out a minimum requested equipment list. Provide a training program. Deputize and provide immunity from prosecution. Provide for citizen's arrest of illegals. Pay $50 for each arrest. Problem solved.

I recently read where Texas had their own navy before they became a US state. How cool would it be for Texas to wake up one morning in command of 10 Nimitz-class carrier strike groups.

Captain Holland: Call up the Militia to increase your manpower, deputize them, and start 24-7-365 patrolling.
If anyone is observed crossing the border “with AK47s on their backs and dressed in military camo” shoot them on sight. This is an act of war, on THEIR part, initiated by THEM.
If they’re using duck blinds as OPs, neutralize the OPs by any means necessary.
This is war, and we better start living like it. They are KILLING American citizens.

To combat the cartels, the Texas Department of Public Safety is launching a counterinsurgency.Cops, trying to play in the field of COIN. Isn't that precious.
