Hooray for TX and AZ. But the notion of STATES having to perform the #1 function of the US government infuriates me. This is an outrageous dereliction of duty by the feds and is plainly an impeachable offense for Obama and Napolitano.

Perhaps a few hundred, or thousand FReepers might come down there and help Texas regardless of what the Unconstitutionalists say in DC? If Washington tries to stop them, there may be larger numbers coming to help.

Maybe, when theh Texans identify a patrol of armed men with AK-47s moving across the border from Mexico they should just start sniping them. That might be a very effective counterinsurgency. And if we think about the term, counterinsurgency, it implies an insurgency. So that armed conflict has already begun. It’s time to play cowboys and Mexican drug cartels.
