That is because politicians in both major parties have done little to curb the problem and have allowed it to fester and grow for decades.

The last president who effectively confronted major southern border issues was President Eisenhower, and that was a half-century ago.

He had to resort to an Executive Order to get around Lyndon Johnson, who was trying to use the bracero program as a way of permanently opening a conduit from Mexico of humble campesino labor who, if they could be gotten into the voting booth, would vota Democratica.

Lyndon Johnson is the person behind all of this. Every bit of it.

People all over Texas should go visit "Landslide Lyndon's" grave..... after stopping off en route for a pitcher of beer.
