Watched the whole thing. Very nice job by Sarah, family, and friends. Excellent!
I can't imagine Al Gore, John Kerry, or Barack Obama as "real people". They are manufactured images who cannot laugh at themselves, cannot show weakness. Palin is like anyone else -- not perfect, but very real. And, when in front of a camera and being asked questions about policy, she "gets it".
A different kind of politician. I do not think the Democrats have anything to match her, in part because they fundamentally cannot be honest about who they are and what they believe.
That is one lucky first dude!
Very enjoyable! This is the way to show people who she really is.
You know, I’m just not convicned that other Moms will view cutting off fish heads and gutting them on a table as the same as baking cookies. Palin has some issues to deal with. You don’t have to ACT like a man to be taken seriously, Sarah.
It was a pretty entertaining show. And the author is correct....Palin is both politically and media savvy...those are pretty good skills to have for a politician.
All I know is I’d pay good money to see Barack and Michelle trying to climb a mountain. Now THAT would be some entertainment.
Here’s my question about Sarah Palin: sh has some (some) xecutive experience and she was a V.P. Candidate. She seems relatively conservative, and has lot of facebook and Twitter posts, but why does that put her ahead of any other canddates? Why palin and not thune? Or demint? Why is this rush to proclaim palin our savior two years ahead of the choice???
I just watched the show and was a bit disappointed.
I thought it would be more ‘documentary’ oriented on Alaska and the outdoors. But it was was more like a reality show.
Don’t waste your time on this article. It is so full of snark and elitist thought it is unfit to read.
Servant of the People
As for unpaid advertising, Obama get tonnes of that from the media. Docos and 1hr investigative reports that sing his praise
Awesome coup at home. Wife loves reality T.V. and “forces” me to watch it all the time. Tonight I made her watch one full hour of the other women I am in love with. If Todd had fallen off in one of those cravasses I was ready to take the next plane to Wasilla!
Compared to Palin, President O looks, well, like a Twit-ter.
I mean...seriously...what chance does a gel-haired gelding like Romney have against this woman?
“Where is the next Ronald Reagan”?.
From Mike Reagan's 09/04/2008 article in Human Events titled “Welcome Back, Dad”...
http://www.humanevents.com/article.php?id=28389
“Ive been trying to convince my fellow conservatives that they have been wasting their time in a fruitless quest for a new Ronald Reagan to emerge and lead our party and our nation. I insisted that wed never see his like again because he was one of a kind.
I was wrong!
Wednesday night I watched the Republican National Convention on television and there, before my very eyes, I saw my Dad reborn; only this time he's a she.”
...”Welcome back, Dad, even if youre wearing a dress and bearing children this time around”.
‘Nuff said, case closed.
Damning with faint praise. Of course everyone in the MSM will pick up, and parrot this notion of how Sarah Palin is 'controlling' her image. Well at least she's doing it herself, rather than having a slobbering MSM do it for her, like they did for Obama.
Not bad for someone they consider beneath consideration for ANY high office.
