Damning with faint praise. Of course everyone in the MSM will pick up, and parrot this notion of how Sarah Palin is 'controlling' her image. Well at least she's doing it herself, rather than having a slobbering MSM do it for her, like they did for Obama.
Not bad for someone they consider beneath consideration for ANY high office.

What? You don’t think women actually CLEAN fish? That would surprise my Mama, though, actually, it was shrimp and crabs she cleaned after she went shrimping with my Daddy. Daddy usually cleaned his own fish, but my sisters and I would join him from time to time; cutting off heads, gutting, cleaning and then filleting.
When some idiot in the MSM said they had heard she and Todd were getting a divorce...she answerer “Have you even seen Todd.? And she laughted at the question..
LOL. Methinks Todd doesn’t feel threatened one bit by Sarah’s outdoors nature. It’s probably one of the reasons he was attracted to her; shared interests.
Sorry you must have know only city girls...dad took me smelt dipping for the first time when I was about 10 and then taught me how to gut them. Same way with any perch I caught..

It's not the Iditarod that Todd runs, it's the Irondog, and it's done on snow machines (snowmobiles). Both are tough races, though, requiring endurance, and persistence.
Hmmmm, that's a tough call.
Gutting a 25 pound turkey is no picnic, but I have done that also....raised it from a day old and better than what you pick up in those bags in the store, and not soaked to water to add weight and pumped up with anti-biotics which is necessary when you have a couple hundred or more in one barn.

How much more 'vetting' of Sarah Palin do you need? I have no problem with legitimate questions being raised, and some of that has been done, but most of the MSM has engaged in character assassination, and silly stories like this snarky article.
I have a couple people on my Facebook wall that “liked” the show. I went to the show page saw some of the posts. The place is being over-run by libs! All these posts calling her vile, evil names....the stench is incredible!

Happy to see that the Dove Foundation gave "Sarah Palin's Alaska" a five out of five rating as uplifting entertainment for the whole family.
That's what we were hoping for in making this series as our love letter to Alaska. We made a positive family-oriented outdoor adventure that show...cases America's Last Frontier with its vast reserves of natural resources which can contribute to our nation's security and prosperity.

“Sarah Palin’s Alaska” is chock full of the stunning, majestic landscapes at Denali Park and Mount McKinley, the highest mountain peak in North America. Nature’s beauty can also present dangerous challenges like angry momma bears and 100 ft deep ice crevices that could swallow up a careless climber.
This rugged backdrop offers some insights as to how Sarah and Todd Palin acquired the skills to overcome some of their own personal adversities; from the birth of their special needs child, Trigg to the cruel jabs leveled at them by political opponents and media pundits.
Sarah is seen as a typical mother with all the challenges of a parent with children from ages 2 to 18. Her husband and help-mate, Todd is not shy or quiet as he is often portrayed. Calm and secure are more appropriate adjectives that describe him. His calming demeanor helps keep the family on task and on track.
The first episode shows Todd and Sarah taking their kids on a fishing trip where they meet up with a few brown bears, and tackling a glacier and rock face at the foot of Mt McKinley. “I wanted to be a rock star, not a rock climber.”
This series will give the public a true-to-life, unvarnished look at Alaska’s former Governor and her family. Was this up-close-and-personal view a good move politically?
We’ll see what the future brings.

If nothing else this series promises to be a great promotional piece for Alaska - even as an Alaskan she’s doing things she’ never done. IMHO. ;-)
I thought it would be more ‘documentary’ oriented on Alaska and the outdoors. But it was was more like a reality show.
It wasn't advertised as a documentary.
