New Delhi: The White House will, of course, stay in Washington but the heart of the famous building will move to India when President Barack Obama lands in Mumbai on Saturday.

Communications set-up, nuclear button, a fleet of limousines and majority of the White House staff will be in India accompanying the President on this three-day visit that will cover Mumbai and Delhi.

He will also be protected by a fleet of 34 warships, including an aircraft carrier, which will patrol the sea lanes off the Mumbai coast during his two-day stay there beginning Saturday. The measure has been taken as Mumbai attack in 2008 took place from the sea.

Oh ma gosh! LOL

This just becomes even more of a circus environment for the BOZO.

I just found this story too:

I think his wife will be talking with India’s sex workers. I have yet to see her address the serious trafficking problems here in the US. And there is a terrible problem with it even here. She’s more concerned with US kids eating potato chips, instead of them being abducted.

I'm pretty sure it's never been done.

Look at the condemnation Bush got for welcoming a single Aircraft Carrier home ~ that "scandal" lasted for what, 2 years?

34 ships is a floating phallic symbol for Bambi - big woman, big boats, big ears...must be making up for a shortage somewhere...

Has a President ever taken this size of a cabinet before either? Where’s Biden?

you mean she’s more concerned about what kids eat while she stuffs her face and fas arse with burgers, fries and ice cream.

No word on Biden, but HRC and Gates with be in Australia.

Comforting, eh?

http://expressbuzz.com/world/hillary-won%E2%80%99t-be-in-obama%E2%80%99s-india-trip/218641.html

WASHINGTON: When former US President Bill Clinton visited India in 2000, he was accompanied by his Secretary of State Madeleine Albright.

When George W Bush followed in 2006, his Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice was in tow.

But when President Barack Obama visits India early next month, his Secretary of State Hillary Clinton will be conspicuous by her absence.

While this may sound unusual, officials suggest it is simply because of a heavy diplomatic calendar. Hillary, along with Defence Secretary Robert Gates, will be away in Canberra for the US-Australia ministerial talks, when Obama undertakes his November 6-9 visit to India.

Hillary knows something or she’d be right there for the photo ops.

George Soros....Where is he going to be? If it’s a money scam he’s be in on it.

Is Marc Rich still in Switzerland?

India: The Pasha Tour

Posted 11/03/2010 07:02 PM ET

Diplomacy: Yes, a traveling president deserves security. But the 3,000-person entourage accompanying Barack Obama to Mumbai, India, this week reeks of pashalike decadence.

With an electoral repudiation still ringing in his ears, we can’t blame President Obama for wanting to get away from Washington as a new Congress prepares to roll in. He’s hardly the first chief executive to do it.

But there are problems with this “strategic” visit, with a stated interest in celebrating Diwali, the Hindu Festival of Lights, that suggest this won’t be time well spent.

In a time of trillion-dollar stimulus packages and $600 billion Fed easings, the $200-million-a-day price tag for these 10 days abroad is an expenditure that will show up as more than a blip on the books.

Five fully loaded jet aircraft will fly Obama and his party of 3,000 caravan-style in luxury that would make a sultan blush. The entire Taj hotel — 570 rooms — plus other space next door are the sort of accommodations only a khan might have arranged until now.

Why the president requires so many attendants in support of a face-to-face meeting with India’s prime minister doesn’t say much for this administration’s money-management skills. All that’s missing are peacock feathers, yak processions and a presidential litter.

It borders on the ridiculous— especially when serious foreign policy talks don’t seem to be on the agenda. India is a nation pleading for free trade, a stop to the demonization of outsourcing, and assurances that America’s $3 billion aid package to neighboring Pakistan won’t end up in terrorists’ hands.

But the White House has offered no assurances on any of these matters and has floated trial balloons ahead of the trip indicating they won’t be addressed.

Meanwhile, the State Department’s heavy hitters on policy are nowhere to be found. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton is on her own, separate Asia tour. And the pros at State are making it clear this isn’t their show.

Asked if anything new would be coming out of the trip, department spokesman P.J. Crowley replied: “Well, I am sure there will be something new, and I’m sure I’ll defer to the White House to announce that.”

Not assuring. At this price, American taxpayers are entitled to something of value. Right now, this junket looks like anything but.

34 warships...40 aircraft and a cast of thousands for a 3 day visit...imagine if he went for a week. ....(we should hope a month and more)

Maybe he can go to Indonesia and visit the madrasa he grew up in and he'll decide to stay there. I'll take the bumbling fool Biden over Zero anyday.

Are we sure it’s not his entire shadow government and the chosen crony capitalists from WS that will remake our country into a marxist hellhole after some ‘manmade disaster’ while he’s in India?

Not so far-fetched----when we consider how he responded to the midterm Dem disaster. His contempt for America, and, we, his "enemies," is blatantly hateful.

At his presser, he showed he's still "bitterly clinging" to healthcare......the Marxist structure by which he intends to change America.
