Dems find common ground: It's the White House's fault By: Ben Smith November 3, 2010 06:21 PM EDT

The bodies aren’t even cold yet in the House, but the Democratic Party has already opened up a bitter debate over who’s to blame.

The party’s bloodied moderates Wednesday released two years of pent-up anger at a party leadership they viewed as blind to their needs and deaf to the messages of voters who never asked for President Barack Obama’s ambitious first-term agenda.

Liberals pushed back hard: The problem, they say, was those undisciplined moderates, who won delays, unsightly compromises and a muddled message from a too-accommodating administration.

Yet a third group of Democratic politicians and operatives blamed not policy but a failed sales job for the party’s woes.

One thing all sides agree on: The White House blew it.

“It is clear that Democrats over-interpreted our mandate. Talk of a ‘political realignment’ and a ‘new progressive era’ proved wishful thinking,” the retiring Indiana Sen. Evan Bayh wrote in a New York Times op-ed posted online as the scope of last night’s losses became clear.

Bayh called the decision to focus on health care in a bad economy “overreach."

“We were too deferential to our most zealous supporters,” he wrote.

Bayh spoke for a wing of the party that had been, before the election, reluctant to criticize Obama’s management of the government, but which on Wednesday spoke loudly.

“Fundamentally, Democrats lost the middle,” the president of the centrist Democratic Leadership Council, Ed Gresser, said Wednesday.

Thanks for speaking up after the election, D-Bag.

Evan Bayh’s first salvo. I think he’s going to challenge Obama for the nomination. He resigned his seat in order to have time to separate himself from Obama and Obama’s agenda.

I love the liberals blaming moderates for the loss. That’s rich. I hope they keep it up because moderate DEMS may find the GOP much more hospitable to their ideas than their own party.

As a Wisconsin resident, you have my sympathy for personally knowing our former Senator.

Maybe he is a nice guy. But, to me, he always seemed like a complete tool.

They all suck and they all lost!!!!!!

Wait a minute... where did OholyO’s road to the WH start. Chicago. Ok, what was the first hurdle, gettign him elected to the IL senate. Ok, what then, considering there was some KNOWN scandal that would keep him from becoming POTUS if known.

Well, Holder and OholyO have been buds for a while now, and well... Holder has managed to keep his law license, so lets assume he is smarter legally than OhomyO (forgive the pun, I could not resist). What if HOLDER is the one who set up the house of cards to hide OholyO’s past, to prevent it from biting Bambi in the butt. Holder knows all sees all.... Holder told Bambi exactly what to do and how/why because Holder KNOWS OhomyO is not an NBC.

So... Holder protects himself and gets to run DoJ as he thinks is best (barf) and Bambi has a DoJ he KNOWS will never open a case about it because Holder already knows. He set it up.

Hum... interesting line of reasoning anyway. Heck if I know if any little part of it is true. But I am willing to bet that Holder knows whats on the Long Form. Any takers?

Explanation? Blame?

The people who voted for 0bama and the Dems bought the O-BS-ama hook, line and sinker that they would get bread and circuses without their taxes going up one dime and getting FREE health Care with nothing changing at all!(Cue the skittle-pooping unicorns)

What they got was a bunch of excrement-filled presents called Stimulus, TARP and 0bamaCare with a side order of record unemployment (even though the real figures are underreported and are always *sigh* unexpected), mind-boggling deficits, and a First Family that vacations, golfs, parties and dines as if it is their Divine Right.

And now those who were blinded by the slogans and speeches of an unaccomplished free-loader have decided that they have been had...BIG TIME!

And the reason?

The President and the Dems did not go far enough, fast enough and take the time to fully explain the wonderment of their actions.

"Our pals" at the ObamaCONspiracy.org are happy that hippie Neil Abercrombie is the Hawaiian governor elect. It's yeah AberCommie! Commit more fraud please as governor to cover for our "Messiah"!

http://www.obamaconspiracy.org/2010/11/abercrombie-takes-hawaii-governorship/

BTW, there's a poster called "mystylplx" on the thread who changed the Kenyan date format at Wikipedia to lie and cover for Obama after the Lucas Kenyan BC came out. She/he/it is still claiming that the date format was incorrect, which is rich, since she/he/it was caught lying.

See here, August 31, 2009 and into September:

"Revision history of Calendar date"

http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Calendar_date&offset=20091005092714&action=history

I thought I'd point out 'mystylplx' as an example of the in-your-face lying they do over at Dr CON's Obama propaganda website to cover for Obama.
