Hey Karl, how many of those you endorsed won? Now, how many that Sarah Palin, the one you dissed, endorsed won? So who is the real loser Karl? (And the cry goes out, “Karl, Karl Karl”)Hey Karl, isn’t there a bathroom that needs cleaning?

Karl Rove and John Cornyn...both let their masks drop in the lead up to this election.

I agree, 100%.

And if you look back, you can see plenty of it earlier.

Rove was the guy who gave us Arnold Schwarzenneger in California, and blew the Republicans’ one chance to change things there.

He was the guy who gave us Arlen Specter in Pennsylvania, which cost Rick Santorum his seat in the Senate.

I wouldn’t quarrel with him if he had supported Mike Castle over O’Donnell BEFORE the primary results. But he went out of his way to destroy her AFTER she won the primary, and AFTER she was booby-trapped by the drive-by media.

If it hadn’t been for Rove, she almost certainly would have won the race.

Sorry, he is not a smart operator. He is a selfish RINO jerk. He was a loser, who took Bush’s sweeping victory in the 2004 election and turned it into a sweeping defeat in 2006. No principles, and politically stupid to boot.

Karl might back a good candidate Republicans, conservatives and the tea party all like.
In those cases, I won't work against the good candidates.

If he pushes his Rinos, they are DOA IMO. Rove can go FH.

Coons is a disaster. O’ Donnell would’ve sent the ultimate message to Obama Liberals. I share your frustration.

However, Rove is not as bad as you say- he is a commentator. Yes, he is wrong sometimes. But we need allies against the Liberal Soros/Obama machine.

Ridiculous thread. Karl Rove isn’t going anywhere. He’ll be raising boatloads of money for the Republicans for years to come, no matter how many self-appointed orthodoxy czars might wish otherwise. He’s an asset to the party, and one of the good guys.

He was absolutely right about Christine O’Donnell. She was a marginal, easily demonized candidate that was way too conservative to win Delaware, and, hey, guess what - she didn’t. It’s a shame we didn’t have decent candidates in Delaware or Nevada. Missed opportunities.

Rove has a right to his opinion. It was okay for Rove to not agree COD was a good candidate.

That said, he should have zipped it from his knee jerk reaction on national TV until he had the chance to sit back and think about it. It really came off ugly.

As to COD, I was for her but kept my mouth shut about something I heard on a very local radio show. The guest was David Horowitz. He was asked by the host his opinion of COD. David was slow to say that she was not a good candidate. The host asked him why. He said that in the last election with COD, she asked him to make an appearance for something. He agreed for a small fee, he had to fly in from Cali. He appeared for her, but she didn't pay him. She finally did before running this time. Horowitz never took this national because he said he still would rather she beat Coons.

That kind of thing bothers me.

I don’t think Rove cares if he is indeed ‘politically dead’.

OneVike: “I will personally spend the next two years to make sure that every candidate Karl Rove supports loses in the primary.”

[I agree. Rush talked about him yesterday. I will explain in next post the clarity of Rove’s deceit.]

No links on it — but we gained TEN governorships and a number of legislature gains.

Washington's a city of zombies -- dead men walking: Bob Beckel, Pat Buchanan, Eleanor Clift, Al Hunt, Gloria Borger, Snakehead Carville and Pruneface Matalin, Wolf Blitzer, Mark Shields, Chris Matthews, John McLaughlin, Morton Kondracke, Bob Shrum, Jules Witcover, Jack Germond (if he's not actually and literally dead by now).

Karl Rove will fit in just fine among the capital's undead. The only problem: finding undead pundits to prey on.
