Ridiculous thread. Karl Rove isn’t going anywhere. He’ll be raising boatloads of money for the Republicans for years to come, no matter how many self-appointed orthodoxy czars might wish otherwise. He’s an asset to the party, and one of the good guys.
He was absolutely right about Christine O’Donnell. She was a marginal, easily demonized candidate that was way too conservative to win Delaware, and, hey, guess what - she didn’t. It’s a shame we didn’t have decent candidates in Delaware or Nevada. Missed opportunities.
‘that was way too conservative’
The Country Club speaks its mind.
Rove has a sixth sense about candidate viability.
He and Dick Morris have their fingers on the pulse of Middle America.
No one....absolutely no one in the middle class... is going to vote for a candidate who does not pay her just debts.
“Its a shame we didnt have decent candidates in Delaware or Nevada. Missed opportunities.”
The candidates offered in Nevada and Delaware were certainly not the favored daughters of the establishment RINOs. But they were the favored daughters of all Constitutional Conservatives. The only missed opportunity here was the failure of the RNC, courtesy of RINOs, to support them. Heck, not only did they not support them, they worked against them, ensuring a senate seat for a bearded marxist.
Nonetheless, thanks to the TEA Party, the sleeping masses have awakened. As a result, RINOs are no longer welcomed at the watering hole. RINOsaurs will soon go the way of the Dinosaurs. Constitutional Conservatism, as represented by the TEA Party, will force their extinction.
We will not compromise our founding principles. It is not for sale to the lesser of two evils. We will not reach across the aisle to embrace socialism nor marxism. . We will fight them, tooth and nail, til they become extinct as well.
You are either with us, or against us. With or without you, we will prevail.
