The Christine O'Donnell campaign bought three thirty minute blocks of time on Delaware TV channel 28 to broadcast an infomercial on her candidacy the last two days before Tuesday's election.
Last night's scheduled 11:30 broadcast failed to happen. This morning, the scheduled 10:00 broadcast also failed to happen.
The O'Donnell campaign just Tweeted about the incidents:
This isn't our show either! We are told channel 28 "forgot" to air it...both times... even though we paid for the time slot last week.

The infomercial, entitled We the People, was posted this morning to O'Donnell's campaign website and can be viewed here.
The next scheduled broadcast is for 3:00 p.m. today.

Thanks for the insight.
The page now opens with an O’Donnell ad...is this their way of trying to cut the cost of damages??
Forgot? Not bloody likely!
Just called - they ‘aren’t there right now.’ Hmmmmph!
This is more than a sign of dishonesty and fraud on the station’s part. I don’t think you hide a message from someone you regard as a “kook” at risk of your license. I THINK THEY’RE AFRAID SHE COULD WIN! And she just very well might.
KSFO the very conservative Bay Area SF station has to accept lib commercials. The drive time talk show I listen to always explains just after one of them airs that they are REQUIRED BY LAW to accept political ads... So the fear of “kookdom” (read honest rational citizenry) contaminating them can be gotten around if that was their problem.
Maybe thats why they screwed up. They are NEVER there ;)
They are there.. hiding.. under their desks..
They must be really worried. I’m not giving up hope.
Literally, “State Controlled Media” - Rush had it right.

Wow, I see that - it is a 6 minute ad on their dumb website - like that’s going to have the same impact as a 1/2 TV broadcast bought and paid for. I called and demanded they air that special three times today and tomorrow.

GREAT VIDEO!! 24 minutes of Great Christine and Delaware!! Must watch all or part when you get the chance!! Go Christine!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Dear Delaware 28:
You don’t have to vote for Christine. You don’t even have to like her.
But dammit, she PAID YOU for those ads. Run them. That’s business.
“In Jesus name we declare that no arrow against her will prosper! PRAY! PRAY FOR JUSTICE!”
Amen.
“They are there.. hiding.. under their desks..”
Certainly at the moment they are...
Corrupt Bastards Indeed... this needs to be the new battle cry of the right, “Corrupt Bastard Media”... there is more than enough evidence to show how the media are affixed to the Socialist Democrats. Just tell them to go to hell!
It is soo funny to me, how Democratic candidates rely on newspaper articles in their TV adds, to say, “...look, even the Kansas City (falling) Star and the St. Louis (slimes) Times agree with me!...” No kidding, you think a progressive leftist newspaper is going to agree with a constitutionalist, patriotic conservative?
I would imagine - having once worked for a radio station in NYC - that the computers are programmed to play the spots at the proper time and the presenter has an ad log in front of him. This would not be a mistake. Also, from past experience, I know the hell you get when you goof up a spot. The client raises hell, the program director raises hell and you have to report it to the FCC (unless the laws have been changed). Someone felt totally secure not running the spots.
Also, the client picks and pays for the RIGHT time to run the ads. It does no good to make this up by running it at a hour when no one is listening.
No problem. All I’m saying is no self-respecting television station would ever drop the ball like this on a paid info-mercial.
And I’ll go one better....if this station is a news station that has a 5pm, 5:30pm and 6pm newscasts, they should comp her campaign the half hour at 5:30 and air the info-mercial between the newscasts as a way of apologizing for being so unorganized.
Anyone noticing anything screwy with Fox News on their TVs? Starting last Friday, only Fox News on Time Warner in Cincinnati is in “zoom” mode.
The Fox News logo is off the screen in the lower right. Any time they have a slide with candidates and their polling percentages, the data bleeds off both sides so that you can’t actually see the %s.
None of the other channels have been affected on any of the 5 TVs in the house. Only Fox News whether or not it has a cable box or is a flat screen or tube type.
All of the TVs changed at the same time. I went through the menu to change the picture modes on all the sets and can’t get it to change back.
I’m assuming someone at Time Warner is monkeying with the image size.
Any ideas?
“No kidding, you think a progressive leftist newspaper is going to agree with a constitutionalist, patriotic conservative?”
Right. I can almost see their endorsement through the fish I’m wrapping...;)
