This post is inspired by the tragic death of an 18 year old Rutgers University student, who committed suicide after his room mate secretly filmed him having sex with another man. Apparently, the student was so humiliated, that he felt he could not go on living. It is not known if the young man's family was aware of his sexual behavior. I do not support the liberal gay agenda. But heterosexual men need to start talking openly about difficult issues, which they never talk about with other men. There is no denying that heterosexual men are more insecure about their sexual orientation, than heterosexual women. If women notice that a certain woman happens to be beautiful, they have no problem talking about that woman's beauty. When women notice the beauty of other women, they talk about it openly, without having any concerns that someone will question their sexual orientation.
Men are of course open in admiring the beauty of women. But when a man notices that another man is very good-looking, he will not mention it openly, out of fear that other men will question his sexual orientation. It is hard for some men to openly state that a few men are better looking than many women, even if there is no sexual attraction involved.
That male macho culture, may have contributed to the climate that led the young man to take his own life. I think it is possible for heterosexual men to get in touch with their feminine side, without endorsing the liberal gay agenda.
There is no guarantee that the young man from Rutgers University would have remained gay for the rest of his life, if he had lived. In Britain, Oscar Wilde's teenage boyfriend, Alfred Douglas, married a woman later in life, and became a pro-family conservative Catholic in the 1920s. One of Britain's brightest pro-family conservative politicians in the early 1990s, Michael Portillo, was revealed to have had a gay relationship in college. In the 1990s, Portillo was the British Defence Secretary and was happily married to a woman, and he was in line to succeed John Major as Prime Minister. But gay militants in Britain used the revelations of his college sex life, to destroy his career.
Well, who is he and what did he say?
Severe tire damage
Here's a line But when a man notices that another man is very good-looking, he will not mention it openly, out of fear that other men will question his sexual orientation. It is hard for some men to openly state that a few men are better looking than many women, even if there is no sexual attraction involved
My guess is that that is not because most men are "insecure" about who they are; my guess is that most men don't care enough about how attractive another man is to actually notice on his own. It has to be pointed out to him, usually by a woman.
Keep the toilet seat down. There´s no excuse for men not sitting at home.
I agree TOTALY! Young MEN should be put in touch with their MASCULINE side so they grow up to be MEN, not a bunch of pseudo-intellectual wussies.
WOMEN need to be put in touch with their feminine sides so they don’t grow up to become jack-booted $$%#s with intellects warped by liberal and anti-western thinking.
One of the reasons libs hate guns so much is because they are a masculine symbol - in more ways than one.
I love my guns - ALL of them.
Replace the word 'homosexuality' with '(fill in the blank)', and the answer is 'YES'.
Speaking for myself I suppose I have a passing awareness of guys that look like they belong in a zombie movie, so I guess I also have an awareness of guys that look like they belong in a surfer movie. Having said that I would not want to use the word "attractive" since that presupposes that I would be sexually attracted to them. I can say quite honestly say that I've never seen a good looking guy and thought, "Damn, I wish I could sodomize him till he bleeds!"
“Are All Men Capable Of Becoming Homosexuals?”
If so, wouldn’t the reverse be true as well?
Did they enjoy reading all those body-building magazines?
If I were locked up in a cell for 3 1/2 years with some guy I’d feel a lot of strong emotion about him but sexual attraction wouldn’t be one of them. I’d probably hate the sight of him.
They were closet queens. You can’t judge masculinity solely by appearance.
Just asking.
My nephew does this, so I told him, the astronauts that landed on the Moon, did not shape their eyebrows. The men that stormed the beaches on D-Day and Iwo Jima did not shape their eyebrows, the guys you watch on Deadliest Catch or Ice Road Truckers do not shape their eyebrows. Liberace, now he shaped his eyebrows. Rue Paul, he shapes his eyebrows. Which group do you want to be a part of?
RE: They were closet queens. You cant judge masculinity solely by appearance.
I had the same opinion, here’s the only problem -— after they came out, they told me they are no longer attracted to men. BOTH OF THEM ( and note — these two men don’t even know each other, they just had similar experiences ).
I don’t have the capability to read their minds so I don’t know what to make of what they said.
Yes, if they exhibit one or more of these traits:
Frequent visits to Demunderground
Frequent visits to DailyKos
Frequent watcher of State-Run-Media
Frequent listener to Air America
These types are confused, self-indulgent, mis-informed, and mis-adjusted to reality, and could stray to sexual deviance easily. Witness the types who appear there.....
DON'T DROP THE SOAP!!!!
This discussion is ASS-UH-NEIN.
Uhhh OK.
Uhhhhhh, no.
Only if they marry Arianna Huffington.
Are all men capable of smoking?
Are all men capable of drinking?
Are all men capable of gambling?
Are all men capable of picking their nose?
Are all men capable of scratching their butts? Are all men capable of farting when you pull their finger?
etc........................
If Oprah keeps on the air, men will. Just think of how many women are already ruined from taking Oprah’s words as gospel.
