If I were locked up in a cell for 3 1/2 years with some guy I’d feel a lot of strong emotion about him but sexual attraction wouldn’t be one of them. I’d probably hate the sight of him.

I had the same opinion, here’s the only problem -— after they came out, they told me they are no longer attracted to men. BOTH OF THEM ( and note — these two men don’t even know each other, they just had similar experiences ).
I don’t have the capability to read their minds so I don’t know what to make of what they said.
Did you see Kiss of the Spider Woman? That’s a pretty good portrayal of how it could happen, with a couple of great actors. Actually, having a same sex affair in prison is far from the worst thing that could happen. Violent, repeated, anal gang rape would be worse.
