Are All Men Capable Of Becoming Homosexuals?
10/5/2010 | Pinochet

Posted on 10/05/2010 12:14:16 PM PDT by pinochet

This post is inspired by the tragic death of an 18 year old Rutgers University student, who committed suicide after his room mate secretly filmed him having sex with another man. Apparently, the student was so humiliated, that he felt he could not go on living. It is not known if the young man's family was aware of his sexual behavior. A link to the story: http://www.cbsnews.com/8301-504083_162-20018574-504083.html

I do not support the liberal gay agenda. But heterosexual men need to start talking openly about difficult issues, which they never talk about with other men. There is no denying that heterosexual men are more insecure about their sexual orientation, than heterosexual women. If women notice that a certain woman happens to be beautiful, they have no problem talking about that woman's beauty. When women notice the beauty of other women, they talk about it openly, without having any concerns that someone will question their sexual orientation.

Men are of course open in admiring the beauty of women. But when a man notices that another man is very good-looking, he will not mention it openly, out of fear that other men will question his sexual orientation. It is hard for some men to openly state that a few men are better looking than many women, even if there is no sexual attraction involved.

That male macho culture, may have contributed to the climate that led the young man to take his own life. I think it is possible for heterosexual men to get in touch with their feminine side, without endorsing the liberal gay agenda.

There is no guarantee that the young man from Rutgers University would have remained gay for the rest of his life, if he had lived. In Britain, Oscar Wilde's teenage boyfriend, Alfred Douglas, married a woman later in life, and became a pro-family conservative Catholic in the 1920s. One of Britain's brightest pro-family conservative politicians in the early 1990s, Michael Portillo, was revealed to have had a gay relationship in college. In the 1990s, Portillo was the British Defence Secretary and was happily married to a woman, and he was in line to succeed John Major as Prime Minister. But gay militants in Britain used the revelations of his college sex life, to destroy his career.

I have felt for a while that some people might actually resort to homosexuality for economic reasons since it now seems to be a protected class...

Oh yeah, right, all men can flip on the queer switch at the drop of a hat. Maybe even secretly “want” to.

Utter nonsense.

This reminds me of the drag them all into the amorality pit mentality promulgated by the undoubtedly “non-judgmental”, Hollywood “creative minds” behind MASH, who made the entire medical base a seething pit of adultery and promiscuity.

Then he wasn’t homosexual, was he?

Trying something once doesn’t make you queer or a drug addict or a nicotine fiend.

These people are wearisome and disgusting.

Are all homosexual men capable of becoming heterosexuals?

Are All Men Capable Of Becoming Homosexuals?

All men are capable of participating in same gender sex. But become a homosexual? Probably not. That's reserved for those who are dealing with varying degrees of family disfunction or events from their childhood in that particular manner.

Others who experienced similar things might become depressed or addicted to something (drugs, alcohol, food, gambling or whatever). Others would grow up and do just fine.

Ultimately, we do not choose what tempts us. But we do choose whether or not we will give in to that temptation.

It is 100% impossible for me to become a homosexual.

I am biologically attracted to the female form.

Male bodies look gross to me.

Bullcrap. And after the third martini every woman on the planet is bisexual.

You've made some assumptions with your post. Of course the MSM wants you to make those assumptions.

Apparently, the student was so humiliated,(CBS news)

The young man, Clementi, was streaming his own sexual videos of himself and posting on a homosexual forum. This was not a case of a heterosexual harassing a homosexual as the young man that secretly streamed Clementi also had homosexual friends. There is a lot more to this story.

And the MSM is pushing that there have been 5 suicides this week. Ok. Are they keeping track of how many heterosexual suicides there have been in the same time period? No. That won't make it look like there's a suicide epidemic. Suicide rates are very high among homosexuals. Most have little to do with society and a great deal to do with their unhappiness.

Judaism’s Sexual Revolution: Why Judaism Rejected Homosexuality
DENNIS PRAGER

...Human sexuality, especially male sexuality, is polymorphous, or utterly wild...

Among the consequences of the unchanneled sex drive is the sexualization of everything -— including religion. Unless the sex drive is appropriately harnessed (not squelched -— which leads to its own destructive consequences), higher religion could not have developed. Thus, the first thing Judaism did was to de-sexualize God: “In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth” by his will, not through any sexual behavior. (snip)

I agree. I tell my young nieces that if I had to find a husband from amongst most of the boys I see and hear about from them, I would never have gotten married. They don’t seem to find it a bit-weird-for the guys to spend as much or more time in the mirror as my nieces might. And that’s just the straight boys.

I think it is possible for heterosexual men to get in touch with their feminine side

Why should they? I'm a single woman and I don't find men with a "feminine side" attractive at all.

If you ask me, men need to get back in touch with their masculine side.

The question is one of nature or nurture and until a “gay gene” is identified, nurture remains the best explanation for a particular behavior.

I had a friend who came out of the closet, I’ll call him Dave, and another friend who was a bit more “metro” before the word ever became a cliche—I’ll call him Tom, but we were talking, and Dave said that his homo friends would find Tom rather attractive. I asked, what about me? He looked at me and shook his head, “No.” I had never been more relieved/insulted in my life.

Hetero woman here, and I think this is nonsense. If we're going to blame "society" there's a long list of ills in front of this one.

I think what happened at Rutgers was sick and sad, but I hear you saying that if only men were more open about their feelings (esp. about other men's attractiveness?) it could have been avoided. How, and really, what does one have to do with the other?

We've become an extraordinarly feminized culture -- if you've spent any time in the school system lately you can see if up close and personal. I think it's fair to say that boys today are more "in touch with their feminine sides" than at any point in our history. If anything, the problem is that "traditional" male roles are not appreciated or celebrated.

To answer the title question - no.

Homosexuality is a genetic and biological dead-end. Obligate homosexuals are incapable of reproducing themselves - which is a good thing.

Practicing homosexuals are either people suffering from a genetic defect, or so-called “normal” people (really individuals of weak wills and genetically deviant tendencies) who have acquired a particularly vicious vice due to influence from genetic homosexuals.
