WASHINGTON President Barack Obama has reopened a long-running feud with Fox News Channel, branding the conservative U.S. cable network as "ultimately destructive for the long-term growth" of the United States.
In an interview published Tuesday by Rolling Stone magazine, Obama took specific aim at Fox's Australian-born chairman and chief executive, accusing Rupert Murdoch of being more concerned about generating profits than promoting an agenda to improve America's well-being.
The U.S. president likened Murdoch to William Randolph Hearst, the newspaper baron whose sensational publications produced the term 'yellow' journalism in the late 19th and early 20th centuries.

All Totalitarian Leaders like Obama have a true distain for a free press. They only want the public to hear their spin. Obama's credibility is shot. No one wants the big govt Marxism that he is instituting he is the most dangerous President this country has ever had.

The profit motive is destructive to the long-term growth of the American economy? This guy is a Marxist, a complete idiot about economics, or (most likely) some combination of the two. The desire to quash opposing points of view has a nice Stalinist whiff to it too.

Fox News should respond that zero is good for nothing!!!

Fox isn’t in control of the monetary policy.
This is pathetic. I have never seen a more whining, petty, pitiful excuse for a leader than we have now.

Obama is more than just an idiot -- he actually insists on picking the same stupid fights time and time again.
It does him far more harm than good -- not least because it gives Fox News the power to define the terms of the debate.

Down here in Australia they consider him a Yay-hoo(buffoon) - I’m continually asked why did we vote him in as president ... I shrug ... say “Dunno” ... I voted for Palin.

“accusing Rupert Murdoch of being more concerned about generating profits than promoting an agenda..”
This is the essence of Obama. Promoting an agenda - his pathetic, sophomoric ideology, rooted in his bigotry and limited understanding.
To: Typical_Whitey
The only thing Fox News is helping to destroy is the idiot Øbama’s America hating agenda.

Not swallowing the Obama party line is yellow journalism? Sheesh. It's the main stream media's unabashed fawning over the likes of Obama that is the real threat to this country.
