Yes, but more importantly, does he have a professorship in an IVY league institute?

there is no shame in buying something from Walmart or Kmart or Shopko etc...when the rabble can save a few dollars here and there, its more money we can spend elsewhere....
While FEMA was hoarding water and ice at the Astrodome after Ike, Walmart was distributing same for free at it’s stores in the Houston area. They had stacks of generators and other essentials while FEMA was still arguing with local officials about who was in charge. Walmart rules!
So you’re saying that the government needs to grow faster?
If you consider that "English", I consider that e-mail BS.
I can’t wait for WAL*CARE.
We’ll live within 15 minutes of a clinic and the longest line at WAL*MART never approaches the time you spend in the “Emergency Room” with a sucking chest wound waiting to see a bureaucrat to take your insurance information.
We must use current dem/lib/prog/pop thinking and language for this statement. The "poor" not only WANT more, they have begun to demand more...in point of fact, they are even declaring that it is not a "WANT" but a RIGHT.
Example?? How about, "it is the right of every American citizen (legal and illegal) to have affordable health care."
Uhhh....No, it isn't.
. g.. The Department of Energy was created in 1977 to lessen our dependence on foreign oil. It has ballooned to 16,000 employees with a budget of $24 billion a year and we import more oil than ever before. You had 32 years to get it right and it is an abysmal failure.
Again....using dem/lib/prog/pop "new-think", or if you prefer, "high revolution, centrifigal thinking" (otherwise known as spin")..."think of how much oil we'd be using if we didn't have the Department of Energy!!!"
This is the exact same kind of spin (excuse me, I meant high revolution centrifugal thinking) the current regime uses to try to convince the unemployed that they are supposed to feel good about things in general because, "think of how many more of you there would be if our wonderful TARP and stimulus packages hadn't saved millions and millions of jobs."
Uhhh....no....they didn't.
My only problem with Walmart is that when they move in all the little mom and pop stores close up...oh and their “fresh” produce sucks.
Of course I take part of the blame in that because I shop at Walmart to get the better prices. Yes Walmart has cheap Chinese stuff, but they also carry the American stuff as well at cheaper prices.
"90% of all Americans live within fifteen miles of a Wal-Mart"
I'm in the 10%! If I could fly I might be within 15 miles but driving it's not even close.
Thanks, but no thanks. I can imagine the quality of service I'd receive if govt. bureaucrats wore blue vests. BTW, why do the BACK of their vests say "how may I help you?" If you're reading that message, it means they're walking AWAY from you.
Here in San Diego, after years of strong grocery union opposition, Walmart began carrying produce. No superstores were allowed here versus the ‘right to work’ States.
Amazing how fast the union stores cut prices to match competition. Walmart avocados are almost half price along with fresh cut fruit packages. ‘Simply’ products like refrigerated apple juice (my favorite) half the price.
The ‘biggest’ list goes on with Walmart (private employer vs government) with its support infrastructure, largest trucking fleet, largest satellite system.....
Best slogan of all time.
SAVE MONEY, LIVE BETTER
Quit reading at point 2.
Only about 2% of a retail sale is profit. The rest has to cover costs, such as the facilities, employees, utilities, merchandise, insurance, maintenance, security, advertising, and (a huge part of the cost) shoplifting.
I swear these people have to have somebody walk them through the process of velcro tying their shoes every morning.
Under d. War on Poverty: What is the end game in THAT war; and do we have an EXIT STRATEGY?!
The World’s largest Public/Government employer you may ask?
Why, it’s the United Kingdom’s Health Services Branch.
Soon to be overtaken by the U.S.’s...
:)
I actually love Wal-Mart. But their secret is..... China
I shop at Wal-Mart. Might as well, since our taxpayer dollars are subsidizing their employees' health care, food stamps, EITC, low-income rents, etc., etc.
Capitalism did work, but you haven't seen much of it around the USA lately.
Walmart began from a Mom & Pop store on the square in Bentonville, Arkansas. The first Walmart store opened in 1962 in Rogers, Arkansas.
Only reason LIBURALS don’t like Wal-Mart is because
it is not unionized. Period!
