UK: What do you think made you become a heterosexual? Just one of questions in "Diversity" course
The Daily Mail (U.K.) ^ | September 19, 2010 | Chris Hastings

Posted on 09/19/2010 12:54:50 AM PDT by Stoat

Town Hall bosses are asking staff to take part in a 'heterosexuality quiz' so they can gain a greater understanding of what it is like to be gay.

The quiz, devised by managers at Buckinghamshire County Council, is part of an equality and diversity course called 'Respecting Sexuality'.

Questions, which are described as a 'twist' on those routinely asked of homosexuals, include 'What do you think caused your heterosexuality?', 'Is it possible your heterosexuality stems from a neurotic fear of others of the same sex?', and 'If you've never slept with a person of the same sex, how do you know you wouldn't prefer it?'

(edit)

The Buckinghamshire council course is just one of a series of publicly funded equality and diversity sessions uncovered in a series of Freedom of Information requests by The Mail on Sunday.

Cardiff, Slough and Cheshire West and Cheshire councils have also incorporated quizzes in their sessions. In Slough, employees ask colleagues questions from a specially prepared grid such as 'Can you sing a few lines from a Supremes song?' and 'Do you read The Guardian?'

Staff at Cardiff City Council are challenged to name the inventor of the 'great British classic car the Mini', and to identify the symbol used to celebrate the Chinese New Year.

(edit)

'To see councils wasting money on such a ludicrous, politically-correct exercise in that environment is disgusting. 'Ensuring that councils don't discriminate doesn't require such insane attempts at a superficial understanding of different communities.'

Gee, maybe I noticed I was heterosexual when my best friend showed me a picture of some unclad babe in a men’s magazine when we were about eleven or twelve. I still remember her name...and some other attibutes.

Seen on T-Shirt in P'Town:

"My mother made me a homosexual!"

"If I gave her a pattern could she make ME one?"

Since 99% of humans on this planet are heterosexual, the odds were in my favor.

Crikey, you just know someone from the Obama regime is reading this thinking “Great policy!”...

Indeed, as well as the plethora of  craven "Diversity" hacks across the country who view it as a way to silence discussion (being forced into a workplace situation where you are automatically guilty as a result of your normalcy is so utterly illogical that it will terrify many decent people who are unfamiliar with the games the Left plays) and to embolden and empower homosexuals.

Although the true number of homosexuals in society is probably somewhere around 1%, most on the Left believe the garbage-numbers produced in the Kinsey report which put the number somewhere around 12% if my memory serves.   When we're talking about voting, 12% is a HUGE bloc which can easily sway otherwise close races.  Leftists will do all they can to insure that this particular bloc is pleased with their efforts, believing that homosexual voters are an essential element in their rise to power..

I’ll ping it out in a bit when my stomach feels stronger.

Ack.

Sorry to hear that you're unwell.  Best wishes to you for a speedy recovery :-)

It’s just my mental stomach after reading a bit of the article!

After I take a walk with the cats, I’ll be back to ping it!

I didn’t BECOME one. I’ve always BEEN one.

Wrong answer.

Your response suggests a belligerent attitude that is not in symmetry with the noble goals of Diversity Indoctrination.

You're mind ain't right, but that's not a problem.  We have ways of sculpting your viewpoint into our way of thinking, by force when necessary.

We have all the time in the world.  After all, Socialism arrives by bicycle.

...Elevate the status of minorities far beyond...

Only if that minority is willing to pledge allegiance to liberalism, or is fantasized oddly enough, by liberals themselves (Islam).

There are plenty of what are technically “minorities” whom liberals abhor because they don’t have a vast membership subscribing to their liberal beliefs. In the case of others, they give them a free pass.

“’Is it possible your heterosexuality stems from a neurotic fear of others of the same sex?’, and ‘If you’ve never slept with a person of the same sex, how do you know you wouldn’t prefer it?’”

Turn this around on them. Tell them to ask homosexuals:

‘Is it possible your homosexuality stems from a neurotic fear of others of the opposite sex?’,

And ‘If you’ve never slept with a person of the opposite sex, how do you know you wouldn’t prefer it?’

That’ll freak them out, too.

That’s a tough question: too many to choose from. Guess I’d have to go back to around 6th grade, sitting next to Colleen.

Answer: I am a firm believer in the doctrine of Charles Darwin, a.k.a. natural selection.

That would freak them out big time, because how do you reply to the name of the idol of the secular scientific world? Charles Darwin?

The moslims have a culture of using boys and have for years and you can’t tell me they are all homosexual. Also,
the prisons are full of people doing that and they aren’t
naturally born homos.

Add Isaiah 5:20 to that.

“Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter.”

Never have I seen a time where various political movements argue so much that simple beliefs of others hurt someone, more or less that beliefs that are otherwise good are supposedly so evil.

Muslims openly have those who are caught practicing homosexuality executed in full public view. This is the case of Iran, even the act between a 16-year old boy and a 14-year-old boy got them both hanged, with extra weight attached to their feet to ensure they got killed instantly.

People love to blame God for their circumstances when the choices were always theirs.

Since 99% of humans on this planet are heterosexual, the odds were in my favor.

100% of humans are born heterosexual. The deviant minority intentionally chooses the abomination of homosexuality. It's not a roll of the genetic dice; it's a deliberate decision made by those committing that disgraceful sin.

See my remarks in post #15 upthread.

An example of what happens when the inmates are running the asylum. Once God and His laws are thrown away, human made "right and wrong" take their place. And whoever is the most driven gets to say what's right and wrong. The insane and depraved are usually the most driven.

People choose their actions, and by their actions, they influence their consciousness.

No one is born homosexual.
