Gingrich: President Exhibits ‘Kenyan, Anticolonial Behavior’
NY Slimes ^ | September 13, 2010 | MICHAEL D. SHEAR

Posted on 09/14/2010 7:16:31 AM PDT by upchuck

...

Mr. Gingrich, who is mulling a bid for the Republican presidential nomination in 2012, made the comments to National Review Online. He was quoted by the conservative Web site as saying: “What if [Obama] is so outside our comprehension, that only if you understand Kenyan, anticolonial behavior, can you begin to piece together [his actions]? That is the most accurate, predictive model for his behavior.”

Commenting on a recent article in Forbes by Dinesh D’Souza, Mr. Gingrich told National Review Online that Mr. Obama “is a person who is fundamentally out of touch with how the world works, who happened to have played a wonderful con, as a result of which he is now president.”

“I think he worked very hard at being a person who is normal, reasonable, moderate, bipartisan, transparent, accommodating — none of which was true,” Mr. Gingrich was quoted as saying.

...

“This crushes the hopes of those who thought Gingrich could bring ideas instead of smears to what the G.O.P. was offering,” said Hari Sevugan, the committee’s press secretary. “He’s not a reasonable man that some thought he could be. He’s proven he’s just like the rest of them. With a worldview shaped by the most radical and fringe elements of the Republican Party, which are more dominant with each passing day.”

The White House press secretary, Robert Gibbs, told George Stephanopoulos on ABC’s “Good Morning America” that “I don’t even have – quite frankly, George – the slightest idea what he’s talking about.”

Newt has been under the umbrella of being a conservative; yet he is an internationalist. It is possible he is and always has been, in waiting for the time he can be elected, and in reality he will be little different than Obama!

It is possible, it is a very long range plan coming to fruition. He is closely associated with many of Bill Clinton's LIBERAL associates. Birds of a feather ... do flock together. MOO

God help us in our day, in Jesus name. amen.

I think that DeSouza perhaps should have said Indonesian, not Kenyan cuzz if I remember correctly he spent his formative years in Indonesia which would have framed his reality in what he witnessed then. Islam. The Kenyan colonial thing? Was that passed by the hand that rocked the cradle while explaining to him why he appeared different from the other boys?

De Souza makes the point that Obama is consciously modeling himself on his father, who was a Kenyan Muslim Marxist who blithered about the “anti-colonialist” thing.

Obama never knew him, but since Obama is a sociopath with no personality of his own, he picked this Kenyan persona as his model.

“...State Controlled Media...”

Add “United” between “Controlled” and “Media” and you’ll have the real, appropriate acronym for the major networks...

State Controlled United Media...SCUM...

D’Souza bases his thesis directly on Zero’s own words in “Dreams From My Father”.

He is living his Kenyan father’s anticolonialist dream.

I guess Zero is too stupid to realize the USA never colonized anything! We were a colony but he is a dumb$&!# so what can we expect?

Even still....Canada was a colony, Australia was a colony, The US of A was a colony...... the most successful places on the globe started out as colonies.

Perhaps seeing that we were a colony we should be destined to an African failure due to African management and dirty African politics? >MAYBE<, we are Kenyans and no one told us and its up to BO to lead us through the jungle to our destiny, little grass shacks on the prairie?

Newt could serve a valuable role as, for lack of a better term, a Republican attack dog.

Good post! I didn't have any trouble understanding what the Forbes article said. I felt like it was well written and definitely made more sense on summing up Obama’s actions than any other explanation I have read. As a 73 year old I know I am not as sharp as I once was but I could easily understand what Dinesh was saying.

Sorry Newt.... I will NEVER forget you and Nancy sitting on that damn couch talking about global warming.

I will NEVER vote for you, for anything!

“What if [Obama] is so outside our comprehension, that only if you understand Kenyan, anticolonial behavior, can you begin to piece together [his actions]? That is the most accurate, predictive model for his behavior.”

What if? How about the question that is recently being asked -is 0zero a Christian or a Muslim? There seem to be any number of conflicting ideology emanating from the mouth of dear leader; however, it is not what he says, it is what he does where one will see the truth. In reconciling 0zero's actions with his rhetoric I think Newt comes closer than anyone else yet publicly making an assessment.

Anticolonial is dead on, as is anti empire and anti western civilization.

As far as religion -0zero uses religion -it supplements his world view of oppressed versus oppressor...

It should be obvious that 0zero is a socialist and his religion is liberation theology -more specifically, Islamic Liberation Theology which is in essence a perverted synthesis of both Christian and Muslim that focuses on overthrowing the oppressor; e.g western empire, taking from the oppressor, freeing the oppressed, and giving that taken from the oppressor to the oppressed...

IF any religious context is used by Ozero you can be sure there is some progressive intiative underlying it -look for it. 0zero uses religious sophistry to cloak his agenda within -he is a wolf that puts on sheeps clothing. The "Interfaith Alliance" are but some of his useful idiots...

Islamic Liberation Theology - Resisting the Empire by: Hamid Dabashi (PDF ebook)

--an excerpt from the conclusion of the book:

Resisting the US-inspired globalized empire (which should never be equated with Americans at large, the overwhelming majority of which have a healthy dose of either active resistance to or else nagging suspicion about its efficacy) can no longer be in terms of a singular ideology embedded in a medieval theology, or an ideologically updated version of it to resist a center-based ‘‘Western’’ empire, or else contingent on spectacular acts of senseless and iconic violence. Resisting that empire requires regional alliances based on crosscurrents of ideas, sentiments, ideologies, and cultures. The worst aspect of Islamic ideology was its persistent reliance on Islamic Law (Shari’ah), the consequences of which for a free and democratic society is simply catastrophic, for it mutates the free and autonomous citizens of a potential republic into the legal subjects of a medieval jurisprudence that no matter how liberally it is interpreted it remains deadly contrary to creation of free and autonomous citizens of a republic. The only way that an (Islamic) liberation theology can be part of a global resistance to the US (or any other) empire is to be party to an equally liberating and global conversation, safeguard its theological monotheism by embracing it within a multifaceted theodicy that instead of trying to account for the existence of evil in the world in fact embraces its own alternatives and oppositions.

Well, we gave to start thinking about nominating someone, and if Gingrich, Palin, and Romney are not acceptable, then who is?

Gibbs is a stooge who says what he is told to say. Gingrich is a thinker who sometimes gets some strange thoughts. This is not one of those times.

I think you need to do two things. Learn a little bit of Kenyan history, and then read D'Souza's article. Then you may have a fighting chance of offering some intelligent comment.

Respectfully we all have opinions. Have you been to Kenya or lived in Africa? Posting 28 was addressed to comments form GatorGirl. I have had to listen to this colonialism crap too long from Africans, blaming their plight on the whiteman.

With regard to Obama I doubt he had very much exposure to his dad, thus my comment of the hand that rocks the cradle, in an earlier post. I think that explains his third world view better as well as why muslims like him so much. Frankly he is a combo of both..thus a muslimarxist.

As a marxist he is an enemy of the economy, employment, freedom and everything America stands for.

Ever wonder why muslims like him so much?... ever wonder why we will fail in our defenses against them?
purposefully and intentionally?

http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/2585916/posts?page=27#27

Now combine the muslim in him with the marxist and I think you can better understand why he is the quintessential anti American pResident and where he is taking us to
