How Obama Thinks
Forbes ^

Posted on 09/10/2010 7:58:45 AM PDT by TigerClaws

Barack Obama is the most antibusiness president in a generation, perhaps in American history. Thanks to him the era of big government is back. Obama runs up taxpayer debt not in the billions but in the trillions. He has expanded the federal government's control over home mortgages, investment banking, health care, autos and energy. The Weekly Standard summarizes Obama's approach as omnipotence at home, impotence abroad.

The President's actions are so bizarre that they mystify his critics and supporters alike. Consider this headline from the Aug. 18, 2009 issue of the Wall Street Journal: "Obama Underwrites Offshore Drilling." Did you read that correctly? You did. The Administration supports offshore drilling--but drilling off the shores of Brazil. With Obama's backing, the U.S. Export-Import Bank offered $2 billion in loans and guarantees to Brazil's state-owned oil company Petrobras to finance exploration in the Santos Basin near Rio de Janeiro--not so the oil ends up in the U.S. He is funding Brazilian exploration so that the oil can stay in Brazil.

****

Obama Sr. : quote: In fact, he insisted that "theoretically there is nothing that can stop the government from taxing 100% of income so long as the people get benefits from the government commensurate with their income which is taxed."

“Obama grew to perceive the rich as an oppressive class, a kind of neocolonial power within America. In his worldview, profits are a measure of how effectively you have ripped off the rest of society, and America’s power in the world is a measure of how selfishly it consumes the globe’s resources and how ruthlessly it bullies and dominates the rest of the planet.”

Simple: 0bama is a Muslim Marxist—

Rauf, supported by the US, D. of State, 0bama, the media et al, is dictating the terms of Zakat, one of the 5 pillars of Islam:

Also see jizya:

http://www.jihadwatch.org/2004/09/islamonline-jizya-is-fair.html

“The honor of Islam lies in insulting the unbelief and the unbelievers (kafirs). One who respects kafirs dishonors Muslims... The real purpose of levying the Jizya on them is to humiliate them... [and] they remain terrified and trembling.” Islamic Jihad

http://www.thereligionofpeace.com/Quran/004-jizya.htm

“There are two forms of charity in Islam - obligatory and voluntary, called Zakah and Sadaqah respectively.”

Never in my life did I think I’d have to cough this knowledge up to Americans.

KNOW THY ENEMY. He has studied you well.

Why don’t Republicans run campaign ads with Clinton claiming “the era of big government is over”......and his claims about budget deficits?

Clinton was a great liar.......if he really was a “new Democrat”-—would he defend Obama or campaign for Gray Davis or liberal Democrats????

I think Obambie is agnostic...so be it.
What bothers me is that he is a Marxist.

Stop prateling about his religion, and understand that he wants to DESTROY America as it is.

I could go there, but perhaps I am mis-stating myself. His worldview and paymasters support a totalitarian, Islamically-derived perspective. Supporting the pillars of Islam, which he learned throughout his youth, is to his purpose. The pillars themselves are being used against the ideals and system upon which the US itself rests.

Dropping the ‘Council’ or ‘Party Commission’ in place has all those czars, all those agencies to be created, waiting in the wings, like the aliens’ spaceships overtop of the world’s landmark cities in “Independence Day.”

Trickle up starts with zero.

I’ve been reading leftist tracts about how the poor countries of the world are poor only because nasty capitalist countries like the U.S. have oppressed them. You can still hear the proponents of that cockeyed theory on places like DU. The simple fact is the only way for poor countries to get out of poverty is to adopt free market economics. Obviously Obama hasn’t grasped that.

Thanks to him the era of big government is back

Only to take its last dying gasp.

The Fraud-in-Chief has energized conservatives like never before. His policies are so profoundly leftist that he succeeded in mobilizing the non-political everyday folks who never before realized how tenuous and delicate our freedoms are. It has opened our eyes to the arrogant power of the ruling political class.

Good article. I guess what the American Revolution was to the 13 colonies — overthrowing the injustice of England’s mercantile imperialism — is what Sr. Obama wanted to accomplish for Africa. And now his son, who is an America, wants an American Revolution against America, of which he is the president. The irony is too great. America unknowingly elects it’s own revolutionary president — a George Washington — against America.

I have some problems with the article: 1) I think D’Souzza gives too much credibility or places too much emphasis on Obama’s book. Obama’s book was supposedly written by Bill Ayers and who knows what types of distortions and liberties were taken by that writer. Obama is a remarkable liar and that book may also prove to be part of Obama’s long and spectacular history of lies. I don’t believe being candid and forthright is a part of Obama’s nature.

2) Obama didn’t get into the White House in a vacuum and that means he was “used” and continues to be used by special interests. Part of politics is the art of compromise and sometimes the hardest thing to retain is your original objectives. What are Obama’s objectives: mostly getting elected. He has no history of accomplishments aside from that. Nothing in the senate. Therefore, I wonder if it truly is a narcissistic feature of his personality that drives him and the rest is just fodder — to be used in however which way. Fox News has so little to do with colonialism but that is what sparks him. Anti-colonialism policies may be part of what he studied in schooled and what his advisers and have set up — but Fox News and “talked to like a dog” are his hot buttons. Obama was groomed for winning elections. He was treated as a prize racehorse in a stable whose object is winning races and getting decorated with nice things. What follows after winning may not be what is closest or deepest to him.

I think it is always tempting to try to see what’s behind the facade, behind the image of the man and see what really motivates a person. Human are complex creatures and there is a lot going on. How much of what we see is manufactured or a blank screen to cast or project our own images on? If anybody understands Obama, hopefully it is Obama.

Well, I might agree.
There is such a huge cloud over the Marxist/Muslim, but
the MSM, obviously, says “ hear no evil, see no evil, speak no evil of the messiah.
Frankly, he can claim to be a Marxist/Christian/Atheist/whatever. I do not care at this point.
I just know that he is an evil puppet of those that want to destroy America.

Why do people continue to focus blame on President Obama? He’s only part of the problem. Shouldn’t the US Congress share some of the blame? It’s like missing the forest for the trees. Yeah, Obama is a bad president, but let’s not forget his socialist/Marxist enablers in congress.
