Stated slightly differently, today’s poll indicates that 41% of americans are dumber than a sack of rocks and 23% so dumb that can’t focus long enough for their intelligence to be measured.
How appx. one out of four americans can fail to understand will happen to their and their children’s futures if liberty is replaced with socialism is beyond understanding.

One thing Obama is clearly doing, and I give him credit for it, I guess, is that he’s fully engaging himself in this election and making it a referendum on his Presidency. If that doesn’t rev up the GOP base and motivate turnout, then nothing will. IMO, Obama must see this as a continuation of the 2008 campaign because he’s very much in campaign mode.

people are now focused on the election and over the holiday really gave our situation as a country and its direction some deep thought.
The 9-11 anniversary isn't going to help him much either. Combined with his obvious bias in the handling of the 9-11 victory mosque and Koran burning, is going to spotlight the foreign policy failures of his administration.
In a way Obama has become electoral poison. So his party is trying to run away from him. But he won't get off the stage and in doing so forces them to be identified with him.
Only the sabotage of the Blue Blood GOP can save Obama now. The GOP attacks on Angle in Nevada have allowed Reid to have a chance of reelection. Murkowski is threatening to do a wright in and sabotage our chances of holding the seat in Alaska. Crist it doing his best to hand Florida to the Dems.

Oh no! He’d better get out there fast and make a speech! Perhaps he could blame President Bush and promote more stimulus packages! Yeah, that’s the ticket...

He's been making a lot of inflammatory remarks -- blaming Republicans, taking credit for stuff that he didn't do, and just saying stupid things that anyone paying attention would know wasn't true.
Makes him look like a big cry-baby. As dumb as the voting public may be at times, Americans still do not like cry- babies.

Obama and his handlers, I suspect Rahm have been trial ballooning making Boehner the next Newt Gingrich. He mentioned him 8 times in a speech yesterday. Right out the old Dem playbook, looking for Bogeyman. I cannot remember a President who so regularly whines about “The other Party” so much. Obama is no leader, he is a professional campaigner, that besides his absolute and utter dark soul and it's fruits of lying, corruption and hate. He is out of ideas, out of energy and out of gas. With that all being said , with all his photo ops with a rainbow of union drones behind him, and more whining about Republicans I expect his polls to rise a bit. Maybe -14 in a few days.

Forty-seven percent (47%) Strongly Disapprove
This is getting very close to 50%. When more than half the people Strongly Disapprove you are looking at an electoral blow out. The people with strong opinions are the ones that are going to show up and vote. GOTV is just for getting a higher percentage of your sides the kinda-sorta approves to the polls. But if the other side has 51% locked in no matter how much GOTV you do it can only have impact locally. State and nation wide races are out of reach at that point. Outside a few inner city districts, where they can cheat up 110% voter turnout, the dems are on their way to being toast.
Now if the GOP can take advantage of this is another matter.
