SEPTEMBER 8--The Florida pastor who is planning to burn a pile of Korans this weekend runs a church that has established a variety of cult-like rules for individuals studying to become ministers, according to the group’s “rulebook.”

The Dove World Outreach Center (DWOC), headed by Islam-hating Rev. Terry Jones, has been widely denounced for its September 11 bonfire plans. The tiny Gainesville church is headed by Jones and his wife Sylvia, a co-pastor.

The DWOC’s “Academy Rulebook,” a copy of which you’ll find here, was created in November 2007 by Sylvia Jones. The document, which details the standards to which a prospective DWOC minister must adhere, addresses topics such as behavior, study, and communication. It is also filled with the kind of creepy directions that are often associated with cults.

For instance, students are directed to cut off most contact with family members. “Family occasions like wedding, funerals or Birthdays are no exception to this rule,” the rulebook notes. “No phone calls. Exceptions can be made under certain circumstances but only after receiving permission.”

He may be a kook, but he has threatened no one with death and has not burned a single Koran. His moral clarity is crystal clear and the precious First Amendment guarantees his protection to protest as he pleases. Look at all of the cowards running to the defense of the Islamic conquest.

I was in Indonesia[2005] during the last controversy over the desecration of a Quran in the news[Gitmo]. The hotel I was staying at got attacked by angry mobs of muslims and was repealed by the local security. I was not injured but another hotel was attacked and a few Westerners were beaten.

The same thing is gonna happen. I don’t blame Muslims, but individuals.

The pastor in Florida has already received death threats. Doesn’t get as much play in the media though as how it “could endanger our troops”.

The entire establishment media endangered our troops repeatedly (just look at the FAKE news items they ran including forged photos).

Too late for them to play that card. Hillary defended it saying essentially “don’t question my patriotism” when she said things like “Bush KNEW” in advance about the 9-11 attacks.

Muslims, in their twisted logic, believe that the USA tolerates islam because we know, deep down, that it’s true. (Otherwise, we’d ban it, like they ban anything but islam.)

They don’t mind the burning of the American flag....they love it and defend the right to denigrate our country in every way. But you may NOT denigrate islam......just Christianity, Judaism, heterosexual marriage, Stay-at-Home moms, homeschoolers....etc.

I agree, he is probably creepy, that does not give the supreme leader of the US armed forces, nor Hillary Clinton, nor the DOD, nor the so called, “Joint Chiefs”, nor the Pope the power to deny Reverend Jones of his First Amendment rights to peacefully protest the evil cult of Islam. If you track back through the articles, you will find that the government was already expressing this argument (it will endanger the troops) to silence those who opposed the Ground Zero mosque.

And even then I said if they are so close to "not real Islam" then they aren't moderate. That it is a myth to call them moderate. Yet there is no denouncing by the "moderates" of those who are not (no harm in it, they don't follow "real peaceful islam").

The Ground Zero Imam is unwilling to agree with the State Department that Hamas engages in terrorism yet he is willing to speak on record saying the US uses terrorism.

He's not "moderate" either. But that is lost from the debate.

It's all one verbal push and shove. It isn't about one pastor doing this, it's about whether ANYONE in America can speak out, or do this.
