Those that kill aren’t the moderates. Those are the ones that are so close to the edge that they can easily be pushed over it. In other words, they are the Taliban’s useful idiots.

If you track back through the articles, you will find that the government was already expressing this argument (it will endanger the troops) to silence those who opposed the Ground Zero mosque.

And even then I said if they are so close to "not real Islam" then they aren't moderate. That it is a myth to call them moderate. Yet there is no denouncing by the "moderates" of those who are not (no harm in it, they don't follow "real peaceful islam").

The Ground Zero Imam is unwilling to agree with the State Department that Hamas engages in terrorism yet he is willing to speak on record saying the US uses terrorism.

He's not "moderate" either. But that is lost from the debate.

It's all one verbal push and shove. It isn't about one pastor doing this, it's about whether ANYONE in America can speak out, or do this.
