Hope the rig operators are not too badly hurt, and that the blowout preventer is doing its designed job.

Yes I’d say “this requires the willful suspension of disbelief” or something similar.

Whoever is trying to undermine our economy....so, maybe.
There was never an accident until Deepwater Horizon and now two explosions??!!
Sabotage!!!!! They’d better investigate this!!! This needs to be on TV and it needs to be floated as a terrorist attack on the USA!!
How can it be anything else??

Eco-freaks shooting up newsrooms and blowing up oil derricks? Have they infiltrated the industry?

There is a shallow shelf in the Gulf extending out past 80 miles. It’s probably only about 200’ deep.

” My guess is environmental terrorism “
Certainly begs an answer to that question....
Wonder when a commission will be formed?

Our nation is under attack. Our rigs are being sabotaged! What other eexplanation????? You're right!!!!
Big, complicated mechanical devices dealing with highly volatile high-pressure gases and flammable petroleum would never explode without help from bad guys! For sure, they never used to explode!
It HAS to be sabotage!

Gee, if these oil rigs had been side by side the terrorists could have had a "twofir", just like the Twin Towers. This is mighty, mighty suspicious. Some local, homegrown, anti-American oil activists at work on behalf of ___________? You fill in the blank.
I never thought the first explosion was a total accident. This strengthens my conviction that there are forces at work here, for some political/environmental agenda.
Deep sorrow for the lives lost, again.

Well, Obama is determined to NOT have oil drilling offshore. Obama is determined to have U.S. dependent on our ENEMIES. This will please Obama even if he had nothing to do with it.

The report on WAFB currently states all are accounted for and only one injury.
It also states that the rig "was not actively producing product" at the time. They're assessing if there is/will be any environmental impact.
