But sadly, in an election season, such sentiments have been stoked into a political issue. As the debate has grown more heated, Park51, as the proposed Muslim cultural center and mosque two blocks from Ground Zero is called, has become a litmus test for everything from private-property rights to religious tolerance. But it is plain that many of Park51's opponents are motivated by deep-seated Islamophobia.

I do not fear Islam nor do I fear homosexuals. I look at both as abhorrent behaviors that run counter to a decent and moral society.
In the case of the Islamofacist, I see an enemy that needs to be defeated. No alternative in dealing with these barbarians is acceptable. They cannot be reasoned with, nor can they be tolerated.

I am sick to death of idiots saying the phobic crap, I do not live in fear of homosexuals, I think it is unnatural and disgusting and it is.It’s certainly not normal and so when these uneducated clowns use the word phobic they then receive an education on the word and it’s meaning.
It’s quite surprising how many use the word and yet have never thought about the meaning of the word.
I have a problem with ANYONE who wants to conquer this amazing free country, by introducing Sharia law, or Godless Communism, or by offering tax payer paid benefits and get out of jail free coupons to illegals, no matter what their faith, or lack thereof.

I had an acquaintance 12 years ago who had a martial arts studio near my shop and he would come in on his lunch hour and
eat his sandwu=iches with me. After the third visit I found that there was only one subject we could talk about and he insisted on talking it, that was my prospective conversion. Everything else that might come up turned immediately to that.
I experienced that with a doctor of good reputation later and hear that that is the normal mode of interaction with Moslems.
My friend who has an appliance repair shop had that experience with a Moslem salesman who came to sell him a line of appliances. Five minutes talking about gas fireplaces and the rest talking about conversion. I do not treat Moslems as individuals anymore. They are just Moslems and not worth talking to.
