FDA Food Safety Modernization Act (Illegal to grow your own food)

This bill was considered in committee which has recommended it be considered by the Senate as a whole. Although it has been placed on a calendar of business, the order in which legislation is considered and voted on is determined by the majority party leadership. Keep in mind that sometimes the text of one bill is incorporated into another bill, and in those cases the original bill, as it would appear here, would seem to be abandoned.

I hereby swear before God and all the world, that if the day ever comes when an official from the government shows up at my house to tell me I cannot grow my own food I will kill them and every other son of bitch agent that shows up until they have killed me. I will not live in a world where Nancy Pelosi and the other worthless sacks of shit in government decide I cannot grow food on my own property. What you said.
In addition, if anyone contacts me and tells me they are suffering a similar situation, I will address the issue. Personally.
It is time to start forming self-organizing defense groups.

Damn! Talk about real-time organic processing! And I thought I was doing great by shaving, downloading dinner,
and reading Bassmaster at the same time! LMAO

And from such people turn away, for his name is Obama."

I figure they (the worthless Feds) would need a swat team or more and that’s if the local sheriff fails to do his Constitutional duty to arrest any of those lowlifes who would attempt to do stop people from growing their own food. Anyone in Congress who would advocate or vote for such lunacy needs to be imprisoned for such flagrant and treasonous violations of basic human rights.
To: Scythian
This is merely one more federal law that will be ignored and forgotten by honest patriots.
The almighty dollar (FRN) is soon to be interred in the annals of history along with the 3500 or so fiat currencies that have come before and are long forgotten.
This will be a rare event since the early '60s when I join with the scummy hippies in their organic gardens and tell the Feds to take a flying F leap at the moon.

require that each person (excluding farms and restaurants) who manufactures, processes, packs, distributes, receives, holds, or imports an article of food permit inspection of his or her records if the Secretary believes that there is a reasonable probability that the use of or exposure to such food will cause serious adverse health consequences or death. If you're not manufacturing, processing, packing, distributing, receiving, holding, or importing an article of food, you'll be fine. You can stop panicking now.

If libs themselves only knew what their supposed soul brothers and sisters had wrought, we might have one more tea party in this land. Herbal tea perhaps (a greenie is a greenie), but definitely a tea party.

The federales already know that several people (who work for embassies and otherwise un-named secretive US agencies) live around here so when they make a raid they usually bring in local cops, state police, and a variety of representatives of other agencies.
They just never know when someone might have borrowed an M60 or something.
We've had as many as two dozen police vehicles here on a single raid at a single location for one guy.
