Judicial activism is pushing America to the breaking point. This week, a federal judge blocked key provisions of Arizona's immigration law, thwarting the will of the people. The decision was ominous and will reverberate for years to come.
Judge Susan Bolton, appointed by former President Bill Clinton, is a liberal elitist who believes judicial imperialism trumps democracy. Her ruling states that local police cannot check the immigration status of people arrested or stopped for violations of the law. In her view, that would amount to an abuse of civil liberties and unduly burden the federal immigration system. She also stipulated that residents cannot be required to carry proof of legal status.

Should Arizona secede? To paraphrase the immortal words of James Pettigru, Arizona is too small to be a country and too large to be an insane asylum.

I get your point but everything should be talked about and considered now. The pace of our destruction is quickening. You have great points here. I would like to see them start with Nullification because all the states could use that for the health care destruction bill. I don’t see Brewer having the guts for your ideas or nullification though. She is a republican- they talk big and make back room deals. I hope she proves me wrong.

Anyway you look at it, this thing is going to build.Ro-ger THAT!
And Obama thought the Transocean oil rig explosion and fire was a huge blow out; he ain't seen JACK!
By the violin-string tensions evident on the streets, the definition of the word "BLOWBACK" is about jump up by several orders of magnitude. As usual, TOTUS has ZERO clue.

This will get to the Supreme Court and I believe it will be a victory for Arizona.
Being from Chicago and knowing how things work here I am very worried that one of the conservative supreme court judges is going to have an accident. People who stand in the way of Mayor Daley and his friends like Obama often end up in the Chicago River. Like the guy who was going to testify against Mayor Daley and drove all the way down town to throw himself off a bridge. Or the head of METRA who walked in front of one of his own trains after he got caught by the feds. /tinfoil

We have shot in November,
ONE ,if we can't fix it after that, I don't know. After my enlistments up, may have to move to Haifa, got some family there.
Never thought I'd ever pledge allegiance to a new flag, may have swear to the Israeli one.

Sheriff Joe Arpaio should round'em up and bus them to the Fed. judges, and everyone elses personal residences that supports the invasion of our country from these criminals...let them take over their domicile
But seriously, I'd like to see AZ tell DC to shove it....and wait to see what action they take when the ball is back in Soros's puppet's hands.
If need be...I'd be proud to become a new AZ resident.
Talk is cheap(and pretty much owned by the left), time to stand up for what's right.

I could see Obama just handing the state over to Mexico if they did and no matter how tough Arizonans are, the Mexican military, drug cartels and organized crime would shred the place. Hell Mexico already has an army illegally living in Arizona.

Naw... that would be way too radical. The solution is soooo easy. What the Governor needs to do is just simply tell Idiot O that Starting August 1st, all federal tax remittances from Arizona will be made to the Governors office... and held in Escrow... until Washington wishes to start speaking English with some element of sense. I do know that this so called president and congress understand money
Oh I like it. And it would spread like wildfire with states like Illinois and California desperate for cash. If they thought backing a get tough on illegals law allowed them to grab federal tax money they would be tempted to do it. Hey nothing can make liberals turn on each other like throwing a pile of money in front of them.

“At the ballot box.”
That’s kind of tough to do when states are approving measures to disallow military votes, voter fraud and intimidation is encouraged by this administration.

Should Arizona secede?
No.
They should overthrow the federal government.
In November. 2010 and 2012.
At the ballot box.
*************************************
The judges would just overturn the people, as usual.
Do we have a Krytocracy (a government ruled by judges) already?
To: SloopJohnB
You heard it here first: Judges making such asinine rulings of law from the bench will result in the “law” falling into disrepute to the point that it will be held in contempt by the thinking American citizens with backbone and DISOBEYED. Stop taking these self-important pontificating puppet jurists seriously: ignore them and their ridiculous pronouncements!!! DO WHATEVER IT TAKES to enforce the Constitution and out rights. The “courts” are becomming irrelevant.
