Then, when the rest of us saw the results of their actionsyou know, the earth cooling, oceans lowering, polar bears frolicking and glaciers growingwe would see the error of our ways and join the crusade voluntarily and enthusiastically. And when these things do not happen....and they won't...the Moonbats and Hippies will start their rants all over again and say the rest of "us" aren't doing enough. Then we're right back where we started from.
Though, I would like to see "their" numbers plummet when "they" try to live on 'organic' food alone.

If they do and there is clear demonstration it works, I’ll join them. I agree Al Gore, lead by example.

Great idea. It reminds me of so many situations where people profess ideas they refuse to act on. Like abortion; if the leftists see such great good in abortion, why don't they start a fund and use it to pay for them? Why do they demand that people who find abortion abhorrent foot the bill?

If they do and there is clear demonstration it works, Ill join them. Just curious. Let's say the after the "Great Experiment" we observe temperatures worldwide that are lower on average by half a degree F, why would you want that? Would you want temperatures that were even lower? I used to play ice hockey when I was a kid, but now I'd sorta like to be the first one on my block here to have a palm tree.

I reject the premise of man-made global warming, so there isn't any point in considering a proposal (modest or otherwise). Pat is having a little fun with those who would inflict their stupidity on others without feeling the pain themselves.

While that is a rational and achievable idea, it breaks down when the assumption is that you are not the problem, but, everyone else is. Liberals do not believe that solutions apply to them.
