First Lady Michelle Obama brought renewed energy to the NAACP today, delivering the keynote speech at the annual convention one day before the nation's largest civil rights group is expected to condemn what it calls racist elements in the Tea Party movement.
The nation's largest and oldest civil rights organization will vote on the resolution Tuesday during its annual convention in Kansas City, Mo. In addition to jobs and the economy, anti-Tea Party activism has been a large focus of the gathering, which conservative leaders say is driven solely by a political agenda.
The resolution is part of the movement to realign people against the Tea Party, which has emerged as a strong grassroots, albeit fragmented, force across the country.
"We have to close the enthusiasm gap," NAACP president Ben Jealous said in an interview with the Associated Press Friday. "The danger of the Tea Party is that people see them and think about periods in history when groups like them were much more powerful than they are now, and so a lot of what we spend energy doing is explaining to people what reality is, and that the reality is that the majority from 2008 still exists."
The National Association for the Advancement of Colored People, in coordination with 170 other groups, including labor unions, is planning a protest march in Washington, D.C., Oct. 10 as the next step in building momentum against the Tea Party.

Yes, she is, but a useful idiot.
The overall color of the anti-TEA party group has been the 'violent racist white cracker*' meme.(*the equivalent of the n-word, for whites, in traditional Southern useage)
Between Shabazz, Calypso Louie, the usual race-baiters, and Holder's pass on prosecution of clear violations of federal law on a racist basis, the overall impression is a call to war against the 'white man'. (I see Shabazz as the modern day Equivalent of Rap Brown in the '60s).
I hope it doesn't come to that, but it sure looks like that is what these people are pushing for.
Just a guess, but I'd bet that would be set to 'go' just in time to cancel the mid-term elections and declare Martial Law...
I, too believe most Americans are not racist, but I have noted, even far from large black populations, that more and more people are getting that way. They are sick of being called racist, and at some point are going to just say 'bring it on....'. It is a rare saint who can endure being the brunt of and accused of something they are not before they resort to fighting fire with fire.
I think the Obamites and Alinsky racists are counting on this to bring about civil unrest in time for the midterms, so they have an excuse to stop the change in management in at least one house of the Congress.
It's late in the game and the full-court press is on.

SEAN HANNITY: But Reverend Jeremiah Wright is not backing down and has not for years and in his strong stance on the teaching of black liberation theology is nothing new. He had the same things to say last spring when he appeared on "Hannity & Colmes:"
WRIGHT: If you're not going to talk about theology in context, if you're not going to talk about liberation theology that came out of the '60s, systematized black liberation theology that started with Jim Cone in 1968 and the writings of Cone and the writings of Dwight Hopkins and the writings of womynist theologians and Asian theologians and Hispanic theologians, then you can't talk about the black value system.
HANNITY: But I'm a reverend
WRIGHT: Do you know liberation theology, sir?

The reason black hate groups aren’t feared - the reason they can say ugly hateful things - and be IGNORED by the MSM - is liberals in the press thinks they’re funny - and harmless.
Entertainment - a joke.
Vizalize it as: “black men jumping up and down with spears, screaming, stomping their feet and looking as mad as they can and “white men” sitting in tanks - fully armed - wearing Bermuda shorts and looking like their getting ready to go to a picnic. Now which group is REALLY scary?
Here’s how liberals REALLY THINK: If a white person said these types of hateful comments, liberals would be afraid because they feel white people are the most effective and violent people on the planet. Black people ( as seen by liberals) are harmless and silly. They get their spears and jump up and down - or shoot bullets into the air - and look macho. In short, liberals laugh at black anger - they don’t even cover it. How fearful are any of us of a 5 year old stumping their feet and making big threats?
And that’s why the liberal press doesn’t cover black threats. They see black anger as impotent. Funny. Fox and Friends covered the subject last Saturday - and all the liberals were laughing at the black threats. Then conservatives on the show started laughing too. It was oddly insulting. They would NEVER laugh if Tea Party people made threats...
That’s how black anger is seen. Impotent.
Now, get a Tea Party together - white men and women, black conservatives, intelligent young people - and there’s a real threat.
Black radicals do their best to look threatening - guns, baseball bats, military type clothing - all for affect. With white Tea Party members it’s to opposite. The men wearing light pastels shirts, shorts and women with soft make-up and appropriate earrings... And which group is more threatening? Trust me - the Tea Party people.
Great tag.
Or, as Dr. Walter Williams likes to call them, "The Klan with a Tan".
It will only happen if conservatives go to the polls and vote!
>> It will only happen if conservatives go to the polls and vote!
I can speak with certainty only for myself and Mrs. Tick. You bet WE will.
However, I think the right and even the center will be VERY well represented at the polls in November. :-)
How could I have missed what a colossal MSM circus THAT must have been?? When did all this take place???
Correction: "Where de white voters at?"
When it comes to conservatives, they don't need proof; the accusation is enough.
Thanks. My tagline has been my personal motto for over a decade now. Someone on another forum once made an observation that said the same thing in so many words. I just boiled it down to a neat caption.
I also love your homepage... I doubt you ‘boiled’ that down... nice to meet you - you’re a combination of honest, humble, and tough. That’s cool.
If those "security" patrols had been 'Tea Party' members the FBI would be taking names, the New York Times would flood the zone, and Big Sis would be using works like 'terrorists'. Since they're protected blacks - - liberals snicker, points fingers and laugh.... and a few of us - conservatives - realize they might be a problem down the road...

Well said. It is disgusting how unfair the left-wing slime ball media is.
Much appreciated. Actually, I boiled that down, too. I tend to roll on and on when it comes to personal expression. I can easily write more than what most folks want to read .. LOL
Thank you for the kind words. I just try to be the best American I can be. It's pretty simple, really.
