Yes, the panel was fair in reproaching their behavior while upholding key data.
No, I still believe those scientists fabricated data to support their beliefs on man-made warming.
If there wasn’t an execution by firing squad resulting from the inquiry, then, NO, I’m not satisfied with the outcome....
I nominate the British Panel for Circle Jerk of the Year.....and that’s saying something considering Obamalamadingdong’s commission on the oil spill and his commission on how to reduce the deficit also have occurred in the last year.....
While trying to save face, they are ignoring the fact that their credibility is gone, kaput.

CNN did a totally false article about the Climategate report but, to my surprise, AP did a very even handed one.
And the third “independent inquiry” was woefully flawed, as were the previous two.

They DELIBERATELY lied, obfuscated, colluded, and covered-up ANY serious question of their methods and resulting conclusions drawn therefrom. The conclusions and recommendations, if seriously acted upon, would be a debilitating shackle of punishment on my grand daughters and their children to be - all for naught but the deluded liberal whimsy of a group of unethical, un-reviewed (real peers), group of hack academics.

I think every body on the “pro” side of the debate is guilty of parsing words. They didn’t “Fabricate Data”... at least not raw data, but when you look at the INCOMPLETE data set and then examine some of their manipulations to include dropping of valid data points in favor of a calculation method that fits their purposes, you begin to see a pattern of of rationalization and “the ends justify the means” in the “scientific research”. This is complete garbage! The conclusions (models) are NOT based on fact and “garbage in = garbage out” is quite apt.
I think Shamans, Wizards, or Witch Doctors are much better descriptive terms than “Scientists” for the GW / Climate Change researchers. True Scientists have already punched huge holes in the current “consensus” theory.
