This criminal class should be deemed toast.
Wamp is running for Governor of Tennessee. He doesn’t want to present any opinions at this time, so he’s voted “not present”.
Go Ron Ramsey!!
Let’s not get too cocksure about November. A large chunk of the voters are still deeming morons that can’t be trusted with a pencil no less a voters ballot.
They hate America and want to destroy it. Always have, always will.
Pray for America’s survival
If the GOP and RNC are inept at trying to protect the peoples $$ being stolen by thieving Rats then why waste a dime to donate to them. No spines = no dimes.
Don’t worry...come November the Democrats will just deem the election over and the Democrats won and the MSM will call anyone who questions the results a racist.
Shock of shocks—she voted AGAINST it! Who knew? Maybe Frau Pelosi gave her cover to vote against it in a desperate attempt to keep her seat? Well, sorry Che-Porter. Too little, too late.
Shock of shocks!
They had the votes, though, so they could let her’s go.
I voted against her last time around, and, regardless of her opponent, I’ll vote against her again.
We can only hope that BOTH of the communist Congressmen (Che-Porter and Paul ‘green is the new red, white, and blue’ Hodes’) will be sent to the unemployment line in November. It will depend on the number of voters imported from Maine and Massachusetts.
The rats will make the deficit the next big crisis and sucker the pubs into voting for tax increases.
Deeming is just aother word for pretend. The Marxists are very good at pretending—as are the “useful idiots” who empower them.
That's what is so outrageous about this Congress. The bill that you are citing is H.R. 1500, which deals with "emergency supplemental appropriations for disaster relief and summer jobs for the fiscal year ending September 30, 2010, and for other purposes".
The trickery lies in the last phrase. The actual F.Y. 2011 budget bill (H.R. 1493) WAS NOT EVER VOTED ON. Instead, this collection of lying, thieving bastards inserted a line within the text of the "emergency" bill that states: "House Resolution 1493 is hereby adopted" - while subtly amending a House rule to allow the deception.
Oh: and where is the news media, the "watchdog" of our liberties, the Guardian of Public Democracy on this issue. Our "watchdog" seems to be lying in the corner, whining about the heat wave and scratching the location where the veterinarian once removed something.
I disagree completely. The party in power elects the Speaker of the House and the House leadership has complete control over the agenda on the floor. RINOs have minimal control of the House because all elected Republicans will vote for the House Speaker, and that change will make a massive difference. Getting a majority in the house immediately neuters Obama's far left agenda. The Senate is a different story, but every seat we pick up is a step in the right direction to stop the madness.
Probably not. Pelosi would have just gotten some more of her minions to vote for it. The vast majority of Democrats voting against only did so because it was "safe" to do so, and they're likely the ones most in danger of being ousted.
God willing, they aren’t wrong!!!
Nonetheless, about all we conservatives have to vote for are ‘Pubbie retreads. There are VERY few fresh faces and new ideas appearing for the mid-term.
That makes this pretty disappointing.
The problem is that it isn't just Democrats, it's ALL politicians. The Republicans are no better. The government we have today is the result of BOTH parties tinkering with things in the name of justifying their existence.
Do we REALLY need Congress in session 10 (or more) months out of every year? Of course not. They have limited functions that they need to perform and, after that, they go home and go back to their regular jobs. If the president needs them back in session, he can call them into special session.
Good point. And as I stated earlier, I’m sure Shea-Pelosi voted NO on it with San Fran Nan’s blessing, knowing she’s WAY behind in the polls. Just like her vote against TARP in October of 2008, this is a strictly political move which will enable her to say, “See, I’m INDEPENDENT!!!” when we know damned good and well she’s anything but.
I’m sure you’re right, in that Ms. Porter was given “special dispensation” to vote against the bill, given the trouble she’s in back in the home district. The vote was pretty close though, given that no Republicans voted in favor, and it does make you wonder about the ones who chose not to vote.
