WASHINGTON (AP) -- Supreme Court nominee Elena Kagan clashed Tuesday with a Republican senator over the limits she ordered on military recruiters while dean of Harvard Law School, repeatedly denying she blocked them as she sought to deflect foes' efforts to slow her apparently smooth road to confirmation.

She is lying. As soon a a court said the Solomon Amendment was unconstitutional she kicked military recruiters off campus and made them interview elsewhere. These law schools have big honeycombs of interview rooms at the schools - it's a huge disadvantage for any prospective employer to be prohibited from using them - it's where all interviews take place. She only relented when the Supreme Court reversed. I guess she wants to prove she can be in Obama’s league when it comes to lying with a straight face.
