Who agrees and who disagrees with Dr. Paul? I would like to see income tax abolished (it is socialism light) but what say other Freepers? Watch the video of course.

13th Amendment bans income tax Even if it did, then the 16th amendment repealed the 13th.

Not socialism light but Marxism pure and simple. Wasn’t a “progressive income tax” one of Karl Marx’s stated goals along with an estate tax to basically abolish “inherited wealth”. We became an economic power without an income tax or corporate tax. Since 1913 the biggest growth has been in the size of all levels of government.

How is the 16th amendment unconstitutional?
To: citizenredstater9271
Now we know why the good doctor is a doctor and not a constitutional scholar.

"Okay but isnt the 16th unconstitutional?" Please, tell us you're joking.
To: KarlInOhio
The 16th was never ratified - but being the feds, they just went ahead with collecting the money anyway.

Did you even watch the video?

LOL! The feds wont stop until they control every aspect of our lives.
I'm also thinking about going to New Hampshire with the Free State Project but I heard New Hampshire's state gov. is now full of liberals and has been for years.

"Did you even watch the video?" Why, is there dancing girls?

I heard Mike Church talking about this one day, but I had missed half of what he had said because I just tuned in.
I knew he was talking about an amendment, now I know which one it is.
No wonder they try to sell you those programs telling you how not to pay your income taxes....WOW.

YouTube has really taken on a god-like status. Don’t these kinds of videos ever get posted elsewhere?
YouTube is banned in China, and we can’t view videos there.
Is there another source for watching the same thing?

An amendment to the Constitution is de facto Constitional.

I’ll listen to Ron Paul’s opinions about the Thirteenth Amendment when he stops pretending that the Fourteenth Amendment doesn’t exist. His pro-choice for states, “states’ rights trump the unalienable right to life” nonsense is irreconcilable with the actual simple words/requirements of the Constitution.
