'Gay'-pride parade features 10-year-old grand marshal

A 10-year-old boy has been named grand marshal for a gay pride parade this weekend – prompting a family advocacy group to call the decision "child abuse" and urge the local mayor to withdraw city support for the event.

The American Family Association spoke out against Will Phillips' scheduled participation Saturday in the Northwest Arkansas Pride parade in Fayetteville, Ark.

"It's shameful that adults would abuse a brain-washed child in this way," AFA President Tim Wildmon wrote in a press release. "He's obviously just parroting the nonsense he's been told by manipulative adults. For gay activists to trot out this child and make him the poster child for promoting unnatural sexual expression is a form of child abuse."

"I was analyzing the meanings of [the Pledge of Allegiance] because I want to be a lawyer," he told CNN during a television interview. "I looked at the end, and it said 'liberty and justice for all,' and there really isn't liberty and justice for all. Gays and lesbians can't marry. There's still a lot of racism and sexism in the world."

Phillips said when his substitute teacher asked him to stand for the pledge, he refused: "I eventually – very solemnly with a little bit of malice in my voice – said, 'Ma'am, with all due respect, you can go jump off a bridge.'"

His father sat beside his son, smiling during the CNN interview.

I’m not so sure. The world has been here before. What we are seeing are symptoms of a great rot. Soft minds who lack the ability to reason and are led by pied pipers on TV. It isn’t progressive it is regressive deconstruction of society and culture. It won’t last because it is all a farce and once the economy fails the farce will starve quickly and be put out of its misery. It won’t be pleasant but a day of reckoning is coming if we don’t get control of things fiscally and socially both are inseparable and only fools believe otherwise. The problem is we have a whole lot of adults who have the minds of children. They say what they have been programmed to say by an culture increasingly intolerant of reason because they don’t want to take flack for saying what they know to be true.

I have faith. The facade will fall and the one who has laid the net for souls will have his feast.

Just when I think we can’t go any lower, I see something like this. It’s frightening to think of the wrath that this nation is in for down the road. I pray everyday God protects my children.

He may grow out of it. The problem is that kids tend to respond to attention and he is getting a lot of attention for this. I hope his parents wake up but then again they are getting attention too, something they never would have otherwise. I get a really bad feeling about this kid. I pray he is protected.

I read the comments this kid has made. Its not just the adults in his life that are the problem ... the kid is sick and needs help. His disregard for our pledge and the United States goes far beyond a gay and lesbian supporting view.

There are plenty of things we all have issues with our government about (especially the current one) but when you show disrespect to the country itself and the flag, you show disrespect for ALL of us.

I don't care if he is just 10, his comments were vile and anti-American. I hope he doesn't actually believe his own words and is just another brat and attention whore.

A teacher was told by a 15-year-old high school sophomore that he was having homosexual sex with an "older man." At the very least, statutory rape occurred. Fox News reported that the teacher violated a state law requiring that he report the abuse. That former teacher, Kevin Jennings, is President Obama's "safe school czar". ..."

According to Mr. Jennings' own description in a new audiotape discovered by Fox News, the 15-year-old boy met the "older man" in a "bus station bathroom" and was taken to the older man's home that night...".

On the tape, Mr. Jennings recollected that he told the student to make sure "to use a condom" when he was with the older man. That he actively encouraged the relationship is reinforced by Mr. Jennings' own description in his 1994 book, "One Teacher in 10." In that account, the teacher boasts how he allayed the student's concerns about the relationship to such a degree that the 15-year-old "left my office with a smile on his face that I would see every time I saw him on the campus for the next two years, until he graduated." ...

That's not a good analogy. Sodom and Gomorrah only had one truly righteous person, Lot. Lot's wife demonstrated that she wasn't really with the righteousness program because she turned to see the chaos, even though directly commanded by God not to do so. His daughters were so far off the beam that they willingly committed incest.
