Everybody takes sides. When the chips are down on important issues, everybody can eventually be found on a side of their choosing. Those that claim to be neutral on the important issues of life are either ignorant of the reality of where they truly stand or are attempting to deceive someone.

Ron Paul is one of those fad of the moment figures who wouldn't even be worth the ink to write his name in the history books...All talk with no accomplishment to speak of.

For example...Where is Ross Perot today? How about Jim Wright? Bay City Rollers?...Who cares?

The article asks a relevant question. Unfortunately, when a 'Republican' congressional candidate tenaciously adheres to wrong-headed libertarian isolationism tenets it remains a big problem for conservatives. When Ron Paul viciously bashes Israel, sounding like a hard-core liberal stridently defending Hamas, he loses me and lots of other Americans.

Well, at least the 'flotilla incident' has shone a light on the rabid anti-Israel (anti-Jew) politicians and others among us. That's something, I guess.

Ron Paul is NOT on Israel’s side — and thus, NOT on the US’s side in the ultimate sense. He has a “head in the sand” philosophy regarding foreign policy and military policy. Unrealistic, foolish, and dangerous. While he is quite good on domestic economic and political issues, he is not to be trusted on matters beyond our borders. Period.

I really could care less what Ron Paul has to say. He HELPED Obama get elected. He’s known as a SPOILER. If he wanted to do anything to help keep the Liberals out of office, he should have kept his mouth shut and stayed out of the race. He is NO FRIEND TO CONSERVATISM!

As far as I am concerned, Ron Paul and all his followers can crawl back under the rock they came from.

Except that Ron Paul denounces Israel while refusing to denounce Iran. He is not an isolationist or America firster. He is talking the pro-Jihad position out of dhimmitude or hatred of neoconservatives.
