Yeah, that ought to save GM from extinction...
The only thing any intelligent, red-blooded American would buy from France is a bottle of wine. I’d never buy a car from the French. It would probably try to surrender to a BMW.
Agreed, what a bunch of idiots. Bureaucrats with college degrees majoring in minors.
This is good. Because I used to love Chevys. I despise Government Motors, so now I know, if you call it a Chevrolet, you’re referring to the current pile of crap. A Chevy is a cool, older American car.
Maybe we can also change levee to levrolet...and then we could drive our chevrolet to the levrolet.
I won't be buying a new 'Chevy' from Obamah !

They got you talking about it.....
Marketing 101. As long as they spell the name right, it is good publicity.
Yeah, and knock off that “Semper Fi,” too—it’s Semper Fidelis!!!!!!!!!!

Dinah Shore was beautiful...and I was a small boy when I realized that there were ladies like that who were very pleasing to have walking around...and there ain’t many left. They really don’t make them like that anymore...
And you are not old, you are seasoned...
I tried to find the picture of Ron Silver in Tunnelvision (1976) with the cue card on how to speak english. Chebby was among the words.
Ironically Chevy Chase was also in that film.
Yeah. And soooooooooooooo surprising, too...
You know things at GM are really turning around when you hear they are worried about what their cars can be referred to as. Shoosh, union management, union design, and union labor will equal complete failure.
What a stupid decision.
The more consistent a brand becomes, the more prominent and recognizable it is with the consumer.”
Chevy has recognition issues ?
Wow this guy is a dumbass
The French also make good tires and skis
Yo-Yo: “I’d call this person a stupid auto exec, but that would be redundant.”
Chuckle!
My guess is that they are trying to do away with the good ol’ American (and in Marxist-owned speak, “hillbilly”) name recognition that is “Chevy” and trying to make this branch of GM vehicles sound more high class and appealing.
But Coke is just short for Coca Cola, like Chevy is short for Chevrolet.
