I gave a girl a ride in my wagon
She crawled in and took control
She was tired ‘cause her mind was a-draggin’
I said, get some sleep and dream of rock and roll

‘Cause like a princess she was layin’ there
Moonlight dancin’ off her hair
She woke up and took me by the hand
She’s gonna love me in my Chevy van
And that’s all right with me

Her young face was like that of an angel
Her long legs were tanned and brown
Better keep your eyes on the road, son
Better slow this vehicle down

‘Cause like a princess she was layin’ there
Moonlight dancin’ off her hair
She woke up and took me by the hand
We made love in my Chevy van
And that’s all right with me

I put her out in a town that was so small
You could throw a rock from end to end
A dirt-road main street, she walked off in bare feet
It’s a shame I won’t be passin’ through again

‘Cause like a princess she was layin’ there
Moonlight dancin’ off her hair
She woke up and took me by the hand
We made love in my Chevy van
And that’s all right with me

‘Cause like a princess she was layin’ there
Moonlight dancin’ off her hair
She woke up and took me by the hand
We made love in my Chevy van
And that’s all right with me

I once worked for JVC (Victor Company of Japan) which was controlled by the Matsushita family of Matsushita Electric.

You may not have heard of them, but I bet you know the brand name they use in the U.S......Panasonic.

In the ‘80s they announced that they were going to drop the Panasonic name and replace it with Matsushita.

The roar of “ARE YOU CRAZY???!!!” finally crossed the Pacific and cooler (American) heads prevailed.

And you know....I don’t think Nissan ever fully recovered from dropping the Datsun label.

The same is true in Georgia.

Maybe Houston was founded by expat Georgians. :o)

It would probably try to surrender to a BMW.

According to what I see on the Internet the Germans nowadays are just a bunch of spiky haired punk fags.

I live in ATL now. Here we say “coke” but it better be a real coca cola product — I think it’s probably against the law to drink anything else! Hee, hee!

They are making a mistake. The Chevy is the quintessentially American car.

And what, precisely, has this administration done that doesn't harm America, our icons, or our dreams?

“Gone To Texas”
reportedly a common sign on abandoned cabins in Tennessee back in the day.

Certainly on Davy Crockett's house.
