Fiorina was the top vote-getter in Tuesday's primary election in a Republican field that included former Rep. Tom Campbell and conservative Assemblyman Chuck DeVore (R-Irvine). ..............."

LOL. I remember those crowing about Rudy McRomney here. Well they got their man. And the result was as predictable as the sun rising.

No wonder the state is in such crappy shape - many republicans cant seem to recognize a conservative candidate from a RINO when they see one. I voted for DeVore but I'm not going to sit here and say that those who preferred Carly over Campbell are stupid.

Damn, G-W, I never knew that, just because I point out a Marxist c*nt as a Marxist c*nt (that would be Barbie Boxcars, for those in Rio Linda...) that I was a "rich white guy".
Learn something every day...esp. on election days it seems.

Good news. Fiorina has my support and got my vote. She is not focused on one thing (abortion) like the evil Boxer. Plus, she speaks more clearly than DeVore who should have supported Fiorina in January. "Power implies responsibility in a moral setting" (Gilby 1963: 121) and Fiorina has a
moral setting.

Do you think she will tap the phone lines of Boxer to see what they are planning like she did with the Board of Directors of HP? My recollection is that Mark Hurd and Patricia Dunn were in charge of H-P when the pretexting scandal occurred, not Fiorina. She was already gone.

That’s a justified criticism. I’m not about to repeat that performance either. It gained our state absolutely nothing.

which means that a conservative like Palin gained power tonight over any RINO at the national level. You see the “real conservative Devore” didn't need to win to andvace the conservative cause. Now we have a 100% conservative at the national level with power and cache whom the GOP RINO’s will have to listen too and respect a little more after tonight. which is more important getting a conservative in the WH or dying on the hill of “real conservatism” in a CA primary?
Carly has publicly stated conservative positions on most issues. Pro-life, pro-gun, limited government, less taxes, less spending. Good enough. she now has a record of issues and conservatives need to hold her to them which devore made harder tonight but its still doable.
real conservatives should be rejoicing tonight we gained a lot of power on the national stage tonight.

Maneuvering on the slippery ground between debate and sarcasm, I am.
My use of the phrase "rich white guy" was an attempt at portraying the Dem's characterization of Fiorina and her supporters...
Cheers!

It’s a baby step. Keep up the pressure. You never know if another Reagan will emerge. California is a great example of, first, get rino’s, then get conservatives. It’s going to be a LONG, HARD, SLOG. Keep your heads up CA, and DON’T give in.

I’m happy to wager you that DeVore gets trounced (3rd place). Want to take that wager or are you just going to bluster some more?
