Helen Thomas’ mistake was in saying what she has always thought and what the mainstream media have been working toward for decades. It’s a mistake because telling the truth makes it harder for Obama and his supporters to accomplish the goals that Helen Thomas values. Liberalism and socialism thrive on lies and deception, and the truth shines too much light on their nature.
What shouldn’t be let slide is that she simply is expressing the sentiments of the left in general.
Yes, I’m painting with a broad brush, but this wall is all the same color.
Helen Thomas was only saying what is now the main stream media and Liberals think. It was a coded message that when translated reads: Jews go die. This includes the Liberal Jews that worship obama and hate Conservative Jews as much as obama and hisdeciples do. And they have the same message for Conservative Gentiles, Christians, Republican Party members,and other people who do not think as they do.

New York, NY, June 6, 2010 … The Anti-Defamation League (ADL) today responded to the statement posted by White House correspondent Helen Thomas on her personal Web site, saying it “does not go far enough” following the outcry over a widely circulated video of her saying Israeli Jews should go back to Poland and Germany so Palestinians could have their homeland.
Abraham H. Foxman, ADL National Director, issued the following statement:
Helen Thomas’s statement of regret does not go far enough. Her remarks were outrageous, offensive and inappropriate, especially since she uttered them on a day the White House had set aside to celebrate the extraordinary accomplishments of American Jews during Jewish America Heritage Month.
Her suggestion that Israelis should go back to Poland and Germany is bigoted and shows a profound ignorance of history. We believe Thomas needs to make a more forceful and sincere apology for the pain her remarks have caused.

I often use a person’s opinion of Israel as an index of whether they are evil or not. Helen Thomas’ remarks clearly show she is of the kingdom of Mordor!
She has been at this for YEARS it is just that no one really listenned to her anti-Israeli comments with concern or genuine questioning of her bigotry.
It has always been on display.
That is why so many democrats love her...like uhbama, and clinton, and on and on.
If Rahm Emanuel were true to his religion, he would not be withing 100 miles of uhbama. But greed for power has far overtaken his love for his faith, as it has with so many American jewish who PRETEND to care, ie make movies about the halocaust and benefit financially from their overtures but have NO DESIRE to stand strong for their brethren in Israel who fight the good fight on a daily basis...with enemies that STRAP bombs on CHILDREN for neighbors.
My feeling is Helen is angry and bitter about Israel.
The WH holds a Jewish event. She sees a rabbi and young people in yarmulkes, and she just spewed forth her real feelings- something she does regularly but nobody calls her on it because it’s usually just republicans she insults and the MSM secretly goads her on.
Finally she’s paying a price. I’m sure she hasn’t changed her true opinion at all.
I’m always amused and outraged when people say Jews should go back to where they came from. If I’m not mistaken, they, Israelis, came from the place where they’re currently living. Imagine if those “Palestinians” had been forceably scattered to the four winds like the Jews, and now demanded to be allowed to live in the outlying areas surrounding Israel. There would be constant caterwauling from the leftist press for the right of these Arabs to return. No such consideration is afforded Jews. They should go back to Poland according to these geniuses.

She is Christian Lebanese, like Danny and Marlo Thomas.
