The Dems tried EVERYTHING to steal Florida--lawyers demanding recount after recount, trying to pick off certain Dem counties; media calling FL for Gore with Panhandle polls open another hour, discouraging thousands standing in line or on their way to polls, so they didn't vote; forcing military ballots not to be counted; voting hundreds of felons.

i was telling my 21 yo daughter about THE KISS last night and how odd it was and how if her father ever tried that in a public venue, i would have pushed him away and said what the HE!! is wrong with you??? LOL!

Good grief. I laughed pretty hard when this hit the Today show yesterday but that's the sort of thing you expect those airheads to blurt. Repeating is is pure cruelty on CBS's part - or purely clueless.

The media conveniently forgets we are not absolutely sure who won the popular vote. Absentee ballots in California, for instance, were not counted because they could not have changed the outcome in CA. But since Gore won the popular vote by less than 550 K votes nationally, and California had something on the order of 1 million absentee votes not counted, who knows what a complete count would have shown? I am sure there are other jurisdictions were absentee ballots, especially those from the military arriving after election day, were not counted because, for the particular state, they would have made no difference. But the cummulative effect may have changed the national popular vote result.
