Did you hear Chuck DeVore on Chris Matthews?
Posted on 05/07/2010 3:02:02 PM PDT by Bigtigermike
Chris just asked DeVore about Palin's endorsement, and he said, "I've got all the conservative "heart and soul" on my side, and Carly's just got Sarah Palin.
DeVore doesn't know how to handle things....Hayworth at least had a fall back if he win vs. McCain " I look forward to Palin supporting me when I win"...."Sheepdog" remarks?.....Backpeddles on RedState today for assinine comment? Devore is blowing up!!

I don’t recall ever discussing Campbell with you, in fact we have never discussed him, I just knew that he would be your favorite, and I was right.
You naturally skipped right past Devore, right past the pro life, NRA member Fiorina, and went directly to the proabortion/pro gay marriage Campbell, I saw that coming.

Carly may be the better candidate than Campbell. I just can’t get excited about her. She doesn’t seem like a good campaigner. I think it is a toss-up on those two.

Well, since one is campaigning as a conservative pro lifer, and the other is campaigning as an openly pro abortion, pro gay marriage liberal, and they are close to neck and neck with Fiorina being in her first race ever, and career politician Campbell being in his THIRD race just for the Senate alone, I think that your theory on who is a “good campaigner” is a very lame effort to conceal just how far left that you are.
AlanD you are a hard core liberal.

Liberal Republicans like Richard Schweiker (his VP choice in 1976) and Chuck Percy; RINOs like Pete Wilson -- people who had absolutely trashed him in public, yet he campaigned hard for them later. All for the greater good.He was unique.
But you miss my point.

And Reagan would've urged you to criticize neither.
Much less a conservative republican candidate.

AlanD, lay off of the foul, nasty freepmail, I have asked you many times in the past to not do that.
If you have something to say, post it on this thread for the world to see.

Much less a conservative republican candidate. Do you have a quote that you care to show me?
After you do that then show me what was wrong about my post that corrected your historical revisionism attempt.

Sarah would have endorsed DeVore but she realized that he has no chance of winning, and it would have made her look bad.
You summed it up nicely, plus, sorely lacking are ANYONE with ANY business experience in Washington. That’s why they in Washington think throwing a $3000 tax credit at a company owner will make them spend $50k a year to hire someone in this Obama-created horrible economy. I wish the purists (which I am one, but wise enough not to bash Palin) would stop their whining in not endorsing DeVore. I do not like Carley’s social views, nor do I like McCain as he’s a traitor, but it isn’t enough to toss Palin under the bus.

Its not about you.
You go ahead and bet on Fiorina. I'll vote my conscience, and you can holler till your blue in the face.

I just watched the California Senatorial debate and really come away very disappointed with Campbell. He will end up being an Arlen Specter/Olympia Snow Republican.
Carly got better as the debate went on. She is a credible candidate. Devore I also like but wouldn’t waste my vote on him unless he starts moving up in the polls.
Sarah Palin’s endorsement of Carly really gives her some credibility with California conservatives.

I don't know how I missed this thread. Wow is all I can say.
Palin went “running” to Katie Couric. Criticizing DeVore for trying to get a conservative message out, and trying to explain why Palin is supporting a RINO, is now considered normal for FR.
wow

Conservative want to keep Campbell out of the seat by endorsing another RINO.
Hilarious.
