This is a big deal in conservative circles, as this is California's largest single-issue pro-life group. When Fiorina got the nod recently from the Susan B Anthony Candidate List -- think of it as the anti-Emily's List -- Team DeVore dismissed it as a DC-oriented group.(They're also going to kick Carly $200,000, they told me.) Don't worry, predicted Team DeVore, California pro-lifers would be behind the rock-ribbed conservative DeVore.
But this pro-life group, the California affiliate of the National Right to Life organization, isn't. And the reason has to do with one thing: They think Fiorina has a better shot at winning. In the June primary and in the fall.
As board member Mike Spence put it in his blog post Monday without naming any candidates specifically: "Our duty is to elect pro-life candidates. The word elect is as important as the word pro-life."

Just Damn!
I guess they went for the highest bidder.
Not good.
Running with someone because they’re considered “electable”, not because they’re the best advocate of your views?
And we wonder why conservatives end up losing in the long run.
Sounds like a phony group - like the fake Tea Party group endorsing Rubio-Estefan open-borders. FL needs a real conservative running for the Senate. It is a shame that McCollum isn’t on the ballot.
McCollum is running for Gov of FL.
I saw Fiorina on the telly a few days ago. I thought she was quite persuasive. She said she was pro-life. Do not know the history regarding social issues, but she is well spoken on the business issues. Do not forget, Campbell is the worst on social issues. DeVore is a good guy. He has a bright future. Would like to see Campbell blown out by either one of these candidates.
Just Win, Baby!
Worked real well with aRnie, huh?
You are exactly right, Fred. Either Fiorina or Devore would be preferable to Campbell. He is the one we don’t want. The other two will be fine. The key is beating Boxer.
well, Arnold always said he was pro choice. You knew what you were getting with him. And really a Governor is largely irrelevant on abortion, especially in CA. If Fiorina syas she’s pro-life, and she’ll vote the right way on Judges, that’s pretty much all that matters.
She’s a Rino - in - waiting, imo.
Why take a chance?
Go Chuck. 8-]
DeVore is easily the best of the three but he’s another SoCal Republican who can’t win outside Orange County. If he had the means of Bill Simon he could give it a run in today’s climate but he doesn’t. Without money he’s toast. It’s just a reality that this is a really expensive state to campaign in and Boxer will have Hollywood.
That's why the second choice, Fiorina, becomes #1.
Considering the inconvenient fact that Carly Fiorina would have likely approved the pro-abort judge Sonia Sotomayor, it’s pathetic any so-called pro-life organization would endorse Fiorina over a proven pro-life legislator in Chuck DeVore.
