WASHINGTON – The United States has 5,113 nuclear warheads in its stockpile and "several thousand" more retired warheads awaiting the junkpile, the Pentagon said Monday in an unprecedented accounting of a secretive arsenal born in the Cold War and now shrinking rapidly.
The Obama administration disclosed the size of its atomic stockpile going back to 1962 as part of a campaign to get other nuclear nations to be more forthcoming, and to improve its bargaining position against the prospect of a nuclear Iran.

And I am likewise quite sure there is a law covering the disclosure and/or selling of our long-range missle technology to our communist enemy, China. But that sure as hell didn't stop Bubba (BJ) from selling it for campaign cash. Let's get real here. The DemocRATS are above any law of man and "they think" they're above any law of God, since they really don't believe in God. They'll find out otherwise some day. Alas, I doubt that will be any consolation to us for a long, long while.

On the one hand, yes, this is unprecedented. On the other hand, it’s not as if every other country in the world didn’t already know that we have thousands of nuclear warheads, enough to destroy the Earth several times over. That’s pretty much common knowledge unless you’ve been living on an asteroid the last 40 years. Once it gets to the point where you have over 5 THOUSAND nuclear weapons, a large majority of them in the megatons...well, it doesn’t really matter if our enemies know the exact number of weapons we have, does it? All that matters is their knowing that the U.S. can obliterate every country, everywhere on Earth — which everyone already knew anyway.
When he and his Marxist globalist masters have bled America completely dry of our wealth, our oil, our water and our food.....that's his exact intent. Just think of him and them as a somewhat less lizardly version of evil aliens in V.
We DON’T HAVE 5000+ nukes. Your all forgetting to subtract the 4000 or so nukes that have already been retired and are just awaiting disassembly and nullification.

Both movements were initiated from Riverside Church in Manhattan (2 blocks from Columbia University and College). Obama was a part of the movement in the 80s and clearly again now!

This is so outrageous. If we don’t put our own internecine struggles for supremacy in the Republican Pary aside for now; if we don’t turn out in force in November and vote to oust every last effing Democrat, we will share the blame when Obama’s policies literally blow up in our faces.
There is a word for this, and that word is “treason.”
I just hope we get the chance to try to fix it. But....I’m not at all sure it can be fixed by merely winning seats in both houses.

Estimates of the total U.S. arsenal range from slightly more than 8,000 to above 9,000, but the Pentagon will not give a precise number.

I did. Anyone who paid the slightest attention to Obama's resume had to know he is a bona fide Marxist. Marxism and the principles on which the United States was founded are antithetical to one another.
Back during the 2008 primaries, while FReepers were still fighting the political wars of the Clinton years, and were seeing "RINO's" everywhere, a few of us saw the real danger: Obama, and whoever backed his incredibly fast rise to power.
I don't know about the rest of you so-called real conservatives, but I'd rather have a George W. Bush, Mitt Romney, Rudolph Guiliani, John McCain, Sarah Palin, Mike Huckabee, Fred Thompson, or whoever's gearing up to run in 2012 in the White House than Obama any day of the week and twice on Sunday.
