Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano told a Senate hearing Tuesday that unmanned aerial drones will soon fly through Texas skies!
"Big Sis" declared that over the past 15 months, federal law enforcement initiatives have made the border more secure than in any other time in history, the SAN ANTONIO EXPRESS-NEWS reports in Wednesday editions.
The new "predator bees" have the capability to fly at altitudes used by commercial aircraft, and are designed to enhance intelligence capabilities of federal, state and local law enforcement.
But a recent analysis of the use of unmanned aerial vehicles found that they were twice as likely to crash as manned aircraft, according to the Congressional Research Service.

I agree that some people go over the top now and then. They’re just blowing off steam. For several years, our tyrannical government stubbornly refused to listen to the overwhelming majority. This is actually a tame result compared to what you would see througout most any other country on earth.
I heard a guy once talk about his experience at sea. There was a man on board the ship with serious BO. Sailors hosed the guy down now and then, but the man wouldn’t take a hint. He hated showers. A squall came up, and the man ‘apparently’ fell overboard. The crew didn’t hate him — he just grated their nerves to the point that they had it with him.
That’s what’s going on here. But it’s not the smell — it’s the tyranny.

These “drone” only have the ability to tell you something is happening on the ground. You still need boots on the ground to stop the illegal activity. AND have the political will to do something about it ... something that Team Obama and |

Nothing. As is intended. Surely you don't think she wants to stop illegal immigration? She wants to make sure the illegals are safe during their travels. This way they can monitor the Minutemen, etc.
Closing the border is an easy thing to do. It's politically expedient to pretend that it's difficult.
No Predator leaves Libby Air Field armed. So there is no danger to Border Guards in Arizona.
