Now that it is plainly evident even prominent officials in Kenya believe Barack Obama is foreign born, it becomes a matter of historical accuracy and constitutional integrity that his life story be fully documented.
Long before Obama was elected president and ever since, the people of Kenya have spoken of him as one of their own. Even first lady Michelle Obama referred to her husband's "home country" as Kenya during the campaign. And now we have James Orengo, a member of the Kenyan Parliament explicitly characterizing Obama as one "born in Kenya."

2. In 1930, the census taker wrote down that he was a naturalized citizen who came to the US (if thats not the date of naturalization) in 1903.
In 1910, Theodore S. Anagnost (Anagnostopoulos) lived in Schenectady, NY, with and next to relatives (cousins, siblings). See dist. 7, enumeration dist. 186, ward 7, p. 4A.
That document states that he came to the US in 1902 and was naturalized by 1910. So perhaps he was naturalized in 1903, shortly after arriving in the US. "
According to a poster, MGB, here:

they state that the 1910 and 1930 Census, as well as Agnew's father's WWI registration card state the he was a Naturalized citizen. His WWI reg card is dated Sept. 12, 1918 and Agnew was born Nov. 9, 1918. Coupled with a 1910 census listing that status, it appears that his father was Naturalized prior to the birth of Agnew. Therefore, Agnew would be NBC.

Of note, apparently the 1920 census lists his father's status as alien. However, that same census also lists the wrong year of his immigration.
I don't recall history debating Agnew's eligibility or concerned that he was born with dual citizenship. Is Spiro Agnew President now or ever? OR is the president NOW a man whose father was never an American citizen instead a British subject, the same president who also has A LOT of people indicating he may NOT have been born on American soil? We can do something about that. It can be remedied. At some point Drew, even YOU must admit (if only to yourself) that there's more here than just internet rumors. A single isolated comment is one thing. But there are numerous inferences from Kenya and even Obama's own wife that no American president has EVER had said about him ... in this case, indicating that Obama was not born in America.

OH, ...*cr*p.
“Then why were only part of all the births in HI listed in those papers?”
I haven’t seen that claim. I’ve only seen the listings for 2 papers, which, IIRC, listed births for only about a week. I wasn’t aware that anyone had tracked down the other 3 or 4 notices that would have appeared in August and compared this against the actual number of births. Someone has pointed out that Nordyke twins don’t appear on list with Obama even though we know from BC’s that they actually were born in this time-frame. But we also know their BCs were recorded later, so in my mind, this may simply be a timing issue: there surely can’t be a sinister explanation for both newspapers electing to “suppress” news of these twin births, so a more hum-drum explanation likely applies.
Notice the “cookie-cutter” nature of the births listed. If these were paid announcements, don’t you think at least some parents would proudly include their newborn’s name in the listing? It might have cost more, but who can imagine the paper not taking advantage of the chance to make money on news most parents would be gladly willing to pay a little extra to share? Conversely, who can imagine not a single family electing to take advantage of this option? Also, while one might well expect some parents to pay the expense of listings in 2 local papers, one might also expect at least some families to only bother with one paper. Thus, the fact that the lists are identical in both papers again suggests a common source of the listings, as opposed to a compilation based on individual notifications by parents.
What was released appears to be the “bare essentials” of what was considered public information at the time, i.e., names and address of parents. But the inclusion of marital information, i.e., Mr. and Mrs. Barack Obama, likely was a subtle way of enforcing social norms to discourage/shame births to single mothers.
A bit of an ambiguous way of putting it. I'm sure Joe Farah means "foreign born" from the American perspective, but not from the Kenyan perspective.
James Oregno is at least the fourth different Kenyan parliamentarian to proclaim that Obama was born in Kenya. Additionally, the Kenyan ambassador to the US has stated the same thing.
It would seem far fetched that all of them would be disingenuous on such a straightforward factual matter, given their proximity to people with first-hand knowledge of a birth in Kenya and probable access to records. In addition they are all probably aware of the possible implications of their statement for Obama in the US. Thus there is nothing for them nor Obama to gain by claiming he was born in Kenya if in fact he was not.
The newspaper announcements veracity doesn't matter.
It's not surprising that I got no reply from the poster who, as shown by a review of their past posts, doesn't appear to be an after-birther, but is however ignorant of the meaning of " Natural Born Citizen."
The after-birthers pushing the newspaper announcements, and/or the COLB forgery, as evidence are inadvertently using material which shows that their Messiah, Resident Obama, isn't a Natural Born Citizen.
Also, if he already was in the country in 1910 and had served in the military and married an American citizen, it would be very odd if he had not achieved citizenship by 1920.
ASA Vet won't be 63 until next month.
Cease boasting about your youth. ;-)
Your argument is simply wrong.
Thanks RX.
Notice how some posters shift the basis of their argument as soon as they got called on the Agnew and Arthur canards?
They go from since it did happen it’s OK to even though it never happened it’s still OK...
A modern day Henry VII?
From Wikipedia
Henry VII fought against the brave Richard III at the Battle of Bosworth, 1485. He usurped the throne from its legitimate Plantagent claimant and effectively committed treason by starting a rebellion against Englands monarch. However, Henry VII was a hard-working ruler, has been described as bookish, but reformed the countrys financial situation effectively and began the Tudor dynasty.
Henrys paternal grandfather, Owen Tudor, originally from the Isle of Anglesey in Wales, had been a page in the court of Henry V. He rose to become one of the Squires to the Body to the King after military service at Agincourt.[2] Owen is said to have secretly married the widow of Henry V, Catherine of Valois. One of their sons was Edmund Tudor, father of Henry VII. Edmund was created Earl of Richmond in 1452, and formally declared legitimate by Parliament.[3]
Henrys claim to the throne, however, derived from his mother through the house of Beaufort. Henrys mother, Lady Margaret Beaufort, was a great-granddaughter of John of Gaunt, Duke of Lancaster, third son of Edward III, and his third wife Katherine Swynford. Katherine was Gaunts mistress for around 25 years; when they married in 1396, they already had four children, including Henrys great-grandfather John Beaufort. Thus Henrys claim was somewhat tenuous: it was from a woman, and by illegitimate descent.
I didn’t miss the point of your post. And the newspaper announcement ssys that the child was born to Mr & Mrs Obama.
There has been some speculation that the delayed reporting of the Nordyke births may have been cautionary, if there was any question as to whether both the twins would survive. Neonatal care in 1961 wasn’t what it was today.
The “cookie cutter” nature of the announcements reflects the standardized data compiled not by the newspaper but by the Dept of Vital Statistics, which provided the lists to the newspapers. In Hawaii at the time, families could self-report births to the state, and not much was required in the way of authentication of facts.
As I see it, an honest man would be**HONORED** to promptly prove with the best certified evidence that he is a natural born citizen. Only a guilty man would avoid doing this.
The question is, “Obama, why are you doing what you are doing?”
The connection is that they are both usurpers. Only one however, Henry VII, has been “officially” recognized as such.
Ok...Now I get it.
It probably is but after reading and hearing Tom Fife’s situation in Russia back in the 80’s that Russians told him back in the 80’s that one day America would have a black president and that he would be communist and was already being groomed for the job.... let’s just say ......
NO, Here are the exact quotes from the announcements placed in the Aug 13, 1961 Sunday Edition of the Honolulu-advertiser,
AND the Aug 14, 1961 edition of the Honolulu Star-Bulletin.
"Mr and Mrs. Barack H. Obama,
6085 Kalanianaole Hwy. son, Aug 4"
Do you have a source stating that it had to come from the hospital?
(BTW you are wrong about that. This has been dissected up and down and sideways on FR.)
