Washington, D.C., April 13, 2010. Army doctor Lt. Col. Terrence Lakin yesterday met with his brigade commander, Col. Gordon R. Roberts, who proceeded to read LTC Lakin his Miranda rights, and who informed LTC Lakin he had the “right to remain silent” because LTC Lakin is about to be charged with serious crimes. Col. Roberts was at age 19 awarded the Congressional Medal of Honor, the only recipient of the nation’s highest honor currently on active duty in the Army.
LTC Lakin had previously been ordered in writing to report yesterday to Ft. Campbell, KY and then on to deploy for his second tour of duty in Afghanistan. Lakin refused to obey these orders and instead came to work yesterday morning at the Pentagon. Late yesterday afternoon he was confronted by his brigade commander.
Before the meeting was over, LTC Lakin’s Pentagon Access Pass had been revoked, and his laptop computer was set to be confiscated.
The message to LTC Lakin is clear; through official channels, he was informed yesterday that he will shortly be court-martialled for crimes (specifically, missing movement and conduct unbecoming an officer) that for others has led to lengthy imprisonment at hard labor.
Lakin has announced in a YouTube video that has now been viewed more than 110,000 times that he considers it his duty to refuse to obey orders that would be illegal if President Obama is ineligible to hold office.
Meanwhile, cries mount for proof of that eligibility, but nothing has been forthcoming. The Obama campaign at one point released a copy of computer-generated abstract of information purportedly in Hawaii's records system, but the source of this information is unclear and need not have been a birth certificate issued contemporaneously and signed by the doctor who attended the birth. Even the document released was only a copy, and the version printed in the Los Angeles Times on June 16, 2008 is on a form only in use since late 2001. Even as it is, the document contains a warning that it is merely “prima facie”--threshold, rebuttable and thus inconclusive --evidence of birth, and the copy the Times printed mysteriously has the certificate number blacked out, thereby rendering the document unusable according to language on the bottom.
Given the seriousness of the offenses with which LTC Lakin is about to be charged, the American Patriot Foundation today renewed its plea for donations to its legal defense fund for LTC Lakin. Details are available at APF's website, www.safeguardourconstitution.com

Incorrect. If someone makes an incredible claim as part of their defense, then they need to show it is believable.
Since Obama has been certified by every possible authority as President, it would be up to Lakin to prove Obama is a fraud. Otherwise, the court will assume Obama is President.
If it is, then so is the definition of the 100 Senators who signed McCain's SR511, and 200 years of Presidential elections and the words of multiple Supreme Court Justices -- NONE of whom you can quote to the contrary.
True dat but the killer part of the equation is once the Speaker certifies the election in essence even if a three legged dog was certified as President the deed is done and you will be calling the dog Mr. President.
The Process creates a "Catch 22" he may not have been eligible but it don't matter because he is!

Nobody had a role in determining eligibility. This a false assumption on your part. When Obama's name was put on ballots, at most he signed some affadavits declaring he was eligible. Nobody is charged with checking to see if the declaration was truthful. The American people sure as hell didn't determine his eligiblity. Terrible reply, Rogers. Terrible.
The General Election was held November 4th, 2008. The Electoral College met on December 15th, 2008 to cast their votes for POTUS.
Are you suggesting that more than a month after the general elections there were still states in which the votes had not been fully counted and certified by the Secretaries of State?
It was actually kind of the stupidest play that Obama and the military could have made.
They should have transferred Lakin to another commander BEFORE they had to have MoH recipient Roberts read him his rights.
As it now stands, we know for a fact that we have a standing army whose senior commanders will unquestioningly obey orders, lawful or not, to shoot down American citizens who the politicians perceive as threats to their power. That includes guys who have been awarded the MoH.
Lakin has done the country a tremendous service by spotlighting this small fact.
When you make a claim, it helps to post a quote that supports your claim. Nothing in what you posted says his birth records were verified. At best, it is an admission that his original birth certificate was insufficient to prove a claim of birthplace. Whatever other vital records are being cited need to be documented to carry any legal weight.
Obama’s political opponents have to prove his ineligibility and neither John McCain, Sarah Palin nor the Republican National Committee has legally challenged his eligibility nor have they filed an amicus brief in support of any eligibility lawsuit.
No opponent has to prove ineligibility. All we have to prove is that his claim of eligibility is inconclusive and that's easy. It remains Obama's burden to prove he is eligible.
Of course not because it would be clear she was not eligible. But of course if she lied and got away with it....no problem.

Perhaps it would be more apt to state that those in the Government have questioned his qualifications publicly.
IMO in November, those who refuse to question Obama’s qualifications to be POTUS, will be replaced by those that will..but time will tell.

It has everything to do with the definition of "natural born citizen" that these 100 Senators and their staffers accepted as fact, acknowledging that both parents had to be U.S. citizens at the birth of the child in order for that child to be a natural born citizen.
Time will tell who the idiot is.

What it means is that Lakin is going to a court martial, having disobeyed an order from a CMH recipient.
He’s going to have to defend that to a military jury. He won’t be able to.
Conduct unbecoming? That's relatively minor, it's the missing movement that will cost him his career.
