It's guts ball time for an Army surgeon who has vowed not to deploy to Afghanistan with his unit unless President Obama provides evidence that he's a "natural born" citizen of the United States.
In response to previously published statements by Lt. Col. Terrence Lakin, the Army presented an official letter of counseling that directs him to report to Fort Campbell, Ky., on April 12 to begin deployment preparations with his unit.

“Over five dozen people were convicted of felonies during Watergate; most of them lawyers working for the President’s administration. Every one of them committed unlawful acts in furtherance of the conspiracy.</u>
Were any of these folks members of the military?
This entire post needs to be posted on every one of these silly birther threads.
We start, Justice Douglas wrote for the Court, from the premise that the rights of citizenship of the nativeborn and of the naturalized person are of the same dignity and are coextensive. The only difference drawn by the Constitution is that only the natural born citizen is eligible to be President.

Thanks for the heads up. I should know better than to take anything a birther says at face value.
Good find. That’s a pretty dang clear Supreme Court justice’s opinion on the distinctions of US citizenships. As we see another example of native is not natural born.
Note what Levin, the head of the Tea Party infiltrator said:
“Our goal is that whenever a tea partier says ‘Barack Obama was not born in America,’ we’re going be right right there next to them saying, ‘yeah, in fact he wasn’t born on Earth! He’s an alien!” Levin explained. He said that by making the tea parties sound like a gathering of crazy people — his group’s goal — the movement will lose its power.”
parsy, who says you hit the nail on the head.
Some how this needs to be spread around and I have no idea how to do it..There is a distinct difference between a native born and a natural born according to the USSC. Some one should make a new thread regarding this and do a lot of pinging.
A native born must have at least one US citizen parent, a natural born must have two. There can be no other explanation.
The approach to being born in Hawaii is wrong in my opinion..it does not matter. His father being a Kenyan citizen negates him being a natural born citizen.
There is no Constitutional requirement for the president to produce a certified copy of his birth certificate.
What? Now his one trip to Pakistan is many trips.
LOL..but THERE IS a Constitutional requirement for natural born.
There are also age requirements in the Constitution. Would you be just as willing that someone “certify” without proving their age?
