Those crazy "birthers" are citing National Public Radio.
Really? NPR?
Archives for the tax-supported organization reveal that a 2008 report described then-Sen. Barack Obama as "Kenyan-born" and a "son of Africa."
NPR's promotion for the story included a brief description of West African correspondent Ofeibea Quist-Arcton, who "describes the stories that have been exciting, including the U.S. presidential race of Kenyan-born Sen. Barack Obama."
After discussing various issues developing in Africa at the time such as Kenya's violent elections, the attacks in Zimbabwe and the presidency of South Africa the conversation on the program "Tell Me More" turned to Obama.

AP declared Obama Kenyan-Born

Exactly. But we need to watch out for this atmosphere of violence here in the U.S. Someone might have to be told ‘say it don’t spray it’ they get so upset!
That link was to NPR’s story. In the text they refer to Obama as “Kenyan-Born” (at least for today; sure it’ll be scrubbed). The audio says “son of Kenya” and doesn’t say Kenyan born.
Still, that’s NPR in print saying “Kenyan born.” Those crazy birthers at NPR!!
With their tin foil hats and Birkenstocks.
Yeah, I’m fully aware of this. They actually say “son of Africa” not “son of Kenya” but yes the explanation of the video on the NPR page says that Obama is “Kenyan-born”.
So yeah, NPR has now joined the birthers. Did you know that Chris Matthews is also a birther? While on his MSNBC program several months ago he said that Axelrod should just leak a copy of the original birth certificate to the news media to end the whole thing. Amazingly that’s basically the same thing we’re saying.
LOL, those crazy birthers at scumbag NPR!
I'm sure that as soon as those eleven AP reporters are done fact-checking Sarah Palin's book they'll get right on it.
I’d like to see the tape that the LA Times kept hidden. The one where Barry is at a dinner toasting a “terrorist supporter”. We know that exists. The Times decided that it wasn’t worth leaking.
But your eyesight is okay and you can read, right?
I just find it funny that Wing Nut Daily screams from the rafters, “NPR says Obama is Kenyan-born!!!”
Spoken like a true Liberal nut job......DU must have let some escape obernite....
No. Even if he was born in Hawaii, his father's foreign citizenship prevents Zero from being natural-born.
[I] find no fault with the introductory clause, which is simply declaratory of what is written in the Constitution, that every human being born within the jurisdiction of the United States of parents not owing allegiance to any foreign sovereignty is, in the language of your Constitution itself, a natural born citizen.
John A. Bingham, (R-Ohio) US Congressman, March 9, 1866 Cong. Globe, 39th, 1st Sess., 1291, Sec. 1992 of U.S. Revised Statutes (1866).

Congress-critters also tried to pass of this little gem for the benefit of O.
TITLE 8 > CHAPTER 12 > SUBCHAPTER III > Part I > § 1409, Children born out of wedlock
(c) Notwithstanding the provision of subsection (a) of this section, a person born, after December 23, 1952, outside the United States and out of wedlock shall be held to have acquired at birth the nationality status of his mother, if the mother had the nationality of the United States at the time of such persons birth, and if the mother had previously been physically present in the United States or one of its outlying possessions for a continuous period of one year.
The only problem is that Zero was NOT born 'out of wedlock'.
Despite the fact his father was a bigamist, Zero's mother choose to get a divorce in a court of law instead of just having the marriage annulled, which keeps the illegitimate birth provision from applying to the Pretender in Chief.
bttt
I don’t see what everyone is making a big deal about.
They’re LIBERALS after all,
and when a “fact” fits their vision, it is promoted,
and when it doesn’t, it is omitted or denied.
SOP
Birther kooks. There nothing here. NPR is making the conservative movement looks like a bunch of racists and conspiracy mongers. NPR probably a bunch of liberaltarians that just want to smoke pot and ask “where’s the birth certificate” with Alex Jones. There are far more important things to know, like what’s going to be on the menu for the party this weekend at the country club and who’s doing the floral decorations. There will be a straw poll on how fast the amnesty path to citizenship should be.
(I guess I will mention that’s sarcasm.)
Wasn’t there a whole lot of newspapers that were crowing about baraq being a kenyan born senator? Now why would they say that?
Thanks for the ping.
Whomever has all the documents in a file should put together a timeline of birth dates/places. Perhaps we could line up events in his life that benefited from place of birth.
It probably was photoshopped, but what if the Obama thing went up after the election and the sign was changed from the one you posted?
If done right, it could also cause the imprisonment of Obama, Michelle, and most of the DNC leaders.
“Some” say NBC takes two parents? Better yet, the usurper himself says that. Check out Senate Resolution 511 and see who one of the six on that committee is. Senator Leahy had it up on his site up until just recently when it was scrubbed. You can now find it, along with the very important and telling discussion, here:
