When tracking President Obamas job approval on a daily basis, people sometimes get so caught up in the day-to-day fluctuations that they miss the bigger picture. To look at the longer-term trends, Rasmussen Reports compiles the numbers on a full-month basis, and the results can be seen in the graphics below.
Obamas Approval Index rating fell a point in March to match the lowest levels yet measured for this president. His rating held steady in the first two months of 2010, after falling seven points in the final three months of 2009. The number who Strongly Disapprove of the presidents performance increased three points to 42% in March. That is the highest level of Strong Disapproval yet recorded on a full-month basis for this president. At the same time, the number who Strongly Approve gained two points to 27%. That leads to a Presidential Approval Index rating of -15.

Also in March, the presidents total approval slipped a point to 46%. That too matches the lowest level yet for this president. The previous low came in December when the Senate passed its version of health care. Total disapproval inched up a point to 53%.

Historic.
Lets not kid ourselves—if the economy improves, Obama’s ratings will improve. The ironic part is that between Health Care “Reform”, debt, and new EPA regulations, he may just kill the recovery that can save him.
The more you know of him the less you like him.
Unexpected?
America does not love Marxists - WHO KNEW?
In November 0bama’s crew will be 0bliterated.
I’m surprised his job approval is as high as the poll say it is.
But remember - they don’t worry about polls! **SNORT**
I would love a fly on the wall spot at the Obama/Axelrod/Gibbs/Emanuel meetings. They have to be pulling their hair out - they can’t even get a dead cat bounce from the flagship socialist issue of the day.
Watch the drop when he imposes cap and tax by executive order and gasoline goes to $5 per gallon as a result.
How low can he go???? LOL
God save America....
So far, the scariest thing I’ve heard this week was a caller to Levin’s show, who essentially asked him what, in the Constitution, would prevent Obama from cancelling elections.
Levin’s answer: nothing in the Constitution prevents that.
:(
Scary stuff, indeed!
But I believe if it came to that, there are more of us and the 2nd Amendment would be exercised with extreme prejudice.
Good to see another Ohio Freeper - keep the faith for a true change!
Dictators don’t hold their power by polls. They hold it by controlling the populus.
It’s not improving and it’s not going to improve. Recall that it was Wall St. that got fooled last time. They will do everything to make it seem like it’s getting better (with the media dutifully in tow), and some bubbles might re-inflate a little but there’s a a difference this time: They can’t do anything with the interest rates because they’re already at zero.
When you compare this to the USSR, you find that they instituted communism while they were still a rich nation. They squandered it, but were aided in survival by U.S. Agr. subsidies for decades. We’re trying to put it in AFTER we’re broke, at a point past where they were when they collapsed.
Our fall will be swift and far, but at least those of us on the right can probably figure out how to get by without the gov’t. And we generally have some means to defend what we have.
There's a lot of damage they can do between now and Jan 2011.........especially if they lose the Congress. A lame duck session could be devastatingly malicious.........
