SACRAMENTO (AP) ― The California State University, Stanislaus campus is in an uproar over Sarah Palin's scheduled visit to the school's 50th anniversary celebration.
Palin, the former Alaska governor and 2008 Republican vice-presidential candidate, is scheduled to headline a black-tie fundraiser on campus in June.
But a student group is organizing a protest and its own event in response.

The real story is that the foundation that is presenting Palin is doing it as a fundraiser for student loans and scholarships. Yee is upset because he was too dumb to present the legislation package that would allow inspection of the fees paid to speakers by private foundations that he is now calling for. And he didn’t volunteer any of his campaign funds to replace the raised funds if the event is canceled. I’m not sure if that makes him an imbecile or a moron.
I didn’t catch any word that the ‘student’ sponsored event would provide any student funding as a result of its protest. They must be teaching How to Cut Your Own Throats 101 at CSU - Stanislus

My mother always said we needed a few more Kent States back in the day. Not saying I agree with her, just saying.
That’s harsh!!
But I appreciate her point that if these nitwits felt a few more billy clubs, rubber bullets and jail cell beds, they would not so easily fall in line with the instructions from their Communist Agitators (who are always watching from quite a distance away, through strong binoculars)
Are they any big, beefy Republicans that attent that school that can stand in front of the doors and do nothing but look menacing? Not the same as attempting to scare away people from voting like libs do, ya know!

I read the story three times trying to find the name of the “student group” which is protesting. Couldn’t find it.

And paid for their own health insurance. (That brings up a question for me: If a “kid” age 26 or under doesn’t have insurance, who gets fined by the IRS, the kid or the parents, or the parent’s employer?)
Maybe the students can invite the more mature and reasonable Rev. Al Sharpton at some future date

The more angry a politician makes the lefties, the more I respect that politician.
Palin is not without faults, but by golly she does know how to make all the appropriate enemies.
These students have been educated to be nice little Fascists who are only interested in watching your demise and have no empathy whatsoever for who they consider the enemy, which is everybody on our side.
They like power! They like force!
They are back ends of a horse!
