No link yet, only from live broadcast:
In a press release just handed to Fox by the FBI, the six Michigan residents, two from Ohio, one from Indiana are charged with “seditious conspiracy.”
Reportedly, Hutaree is accused of attempted use of weapons of mass destruction. Charges range from August 2008 to today. The militia group Hutaree are said to have conspired to oppose by force the authority of the US Government.
The members viewed local, state and federal law enforcement as "the brotherhood," also known as their enemy, and have been preparing, the FBI says, to engage them in armed conflict.
According to one plan released by the FBI, the group was to kill a law enforcement officer, then during the funeral precession, hit again with IEDs to kill more LEOs.

So, anybody who disagrees with the government is to be charged with sedition?
Big Sis wants to out-do El Reno’s inferno.
Sure.
Something doesn’t smell right. The FBI is saying the group was targeting the police...yet CAIR comes out yesterday saying the group was targeting muslims. The investigation has been going on since 2008...yet suddenly it’s time to arrest these people?
However, if they were targeting the police and there is proof of such, they belong in jail. Isn’t it sad that we now have to be suspicious of our own FBI because Obama and Holder are muslim appeasers and sympathizers.
Question -
how many Christians have ever “slipped” and said “my Muslim faith” when they meant “my Christian faith”...
We have a winner. You get to pick from anything on the bottom row.
Fox had guy sighting Southern Poverty Law Center statistics as part of their reporting on this group.
Me neither. Funny this happens when the media and Dem's war against the Tea Party isn't sticking. Already seeing headlines calling the raids against Christian terrorist militia groups. How long does it take for the media to call a group Muslim terrorists? We're under attack by our very own folks.
It’s nice that they’ve finally come up with any specific charges whatsoever.
Some evidence would also be helpful.
If the FBI is going to raid places, they really ought to get their PR machine up to speed. Rather than have hours go by with the Internet aflame with legitimate questions about their actions, the FBI ought to release solid information about the charges involved up-front.
First rule of militia, don’t talk about militia.
That’s coming.
Sounds like a headline from Iraq,Trashcanistan?
If they act like Muslim terrorists, there is nothing Christian nor patriotic about this group.
I’ll get back to you.
charges of seditious conspiracy, attempted use of weapons of mass destruction, teaching the use of explosive materials and possessing a firearm during a crime of violence,
Seditious conspiracy: a crime of being a part of the other parts they mention.
Weapons of mass destruction: anything that can kill more than one or a few....such as an explosive
Teaching the use of explosive materials - This is extremely vague and could go from stump removal to who knows what. In other words, a meaningless charge without details. (Also explains the WMD charge above.)
Possessing a firearm during crime of violence: almost an obvious one.
Crime of Violence: this is the only thing that sounds like it could have meat on its bones, but it doesn’t say armed robbery, thuggery, etc. (So, if you illegally blow up a stump...is that a “crime of violence”? And if you carry a gun during that explosion.....???
The bench is deep.
Just like the OKC bombing allowed them to demonize conservatives and talk radio, this will be used by the media to attack anyone who is anti-Obamunist.
TITLE 18 > PART I > CHAPTER 115 > § 2384
